I don't really care. The speed at which a page loads is largely dependent on how fast your internet speed is anyways. The skinniest browser in the world isn't going to help your 56k modem.

Firefox.

I hate both IE and Safari, have never really had a chance to use Opera and Chrome is made by google (which is a pretty good reason not to use it.)

Chrome all the way; it is the most comfortable one for me because it's simple, fast and effective.

I have Safari, FireFox, Chrome and Shiira. My main browser is Safari, though. Mostly because I'm just too used to it to change.

Since I never really used a lot of plug-ins back in my Firefox days, I switched to Chrome and never looked back.

I use Chrome because it's much faster, the interface is cleaner, its has all the extensions/add-ons that I need, the URL bar is a search bar...and did I mention that it's fast?

Google Chrome: moving at the speed of potato [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nCgQDjiotG0].

Mozzila MINEFIELD.

Beta browser that is incredibly fast, and isn't even the full release. All the add-ons of Firefox with the streamlining of chrome :3.

EDIT: It's also faster than Chrome for anyone wondering, with the latest Safari being just slightly ahead of this.

I do not prefer any of the currently existing browsers that are available on windows.

Reason: None of them satisfies ALL of the following requirements:

- lightweight (including dependencies)
- comfortable. I don't mean fancy features. Just basic stuff like a bookmarks sidebar for example.
- clean and simply UI, or failing that a customizable UI
- not buggy
- respects OS-colorscheme (no skinning and no custom colors)
- not based on microsofts engine

Out of all browsers, older versions of opera probably come close, but the issue with opera is that it fails to respect the OS-colorscheme (it looks like shit on a dark desktop and a lot of stuff is even unreadable). K-Meleon also comes close, but lacks a bookmarks sidebar, and is incompatible with my keyboard layout (and also offers no way of fixing that).

For now, i'm stuck with my custom version of firefox 3.5. I'll just stick with that and never update again until a browser exists that satisfied the above requirements.

Safari for me, and a whole two other people. Yahhhhh, High Five? Its mostly cos I use a Mac (please don't hit me Escapist peeps). I used to use Firefox but found that to become bloated and slow. I had a little stint with Opera but ultimately I still use Safari. I tried Chrome and found it to be brilliant, but no better than Safari, and considering they both run on the WebKit engine that doesn't surprise me.

Chrome, I just switched out from using firefox, despite firefox having a better range of plugins. (someone please put up the Internet explorer De-motivational "Internet explorer, the No.1 browser for downloading a better browser")
