I switched a while ago from IE to firefox. Haven't thought about changing since.

Mainly due to great service and little add-ons I couldn't really live without.

As everybody's once said "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" :p

I use Firefox.

IE just sucks in my opinion.
Heard Safari sucks on Windows, too.
Never tried Chrome or Opera.

A couple weeks ago Chrome stopped working, so I had to use IE for one day. And I got a virus. And it reminded me why I switched to Chrome.

Chrome for sure. It finally has extensions a built-in bookmark sync and several other nice features. Gives great screen real-estate and it's very quick too.

I discovered that it also has the best/quickest Java rendering engine when testing my website on different browsers.

Chrome because its just simpler, firefox has too much crap attached to it that I can't be bothered to use.

Firefox. Chrome's a bit too simplistic for me, so despite being slightly faster than Firefox, I can't bring myself to use it. Plus, I value my privacy, and Google is the last entity on earth I'd trust with that.

And IE? Get the fuck out of here, I'd have all of about 5 pixels to view a page past the ten spyware toolbars that come pre-installed on a factory computer. And even when that issue is taken care of, it's junky and slow, even at its most streamlined; the difference between IE and Firefox is not unlike the difference between a slingshot and a hunting rifle, respectively.

My sister (who happens to be excruciatingly computer-illiterate) uninstalls Firefox from the family desktop every time I put it on there because "it broke the computer" by becoming the default browser. I tried explaining that she could import her settings instantly and have every last one of her old settings, down to the bookmarks, but she staunchly refuses to use what amounts to the same damn thing, only improved in every way imaginable.

When you clearly observe that my dinky bottom-shelf netbook loads a page instantly on Firefox, while the monstrous quad-core humming silently in the other room (which can smoothly play HL2 on full settings at 1680x1050 resolution with very little help from the shitty media card that came with it) chugs along for a few seconds before it starts to load a page in fragments on IE, and you still argue that IE is superior, I'm afraid I reserve every right to be condescending and shitty on all matters computer-related. Now, whenever I walk by her surfing the internet, I feel like she deserves to have to stare at a blank, white screen for five seconds every time she clicks over to a new page.

You're all fools if you don't use Chrome. Pwn2Own, look it up. I'll even give you a link

As the only unhacked browser, Chrome walks away again.

Chrome and Firefox. Chrome for its superior handling of Google wave and it's oh so pwetty layout. Firefox for the plugins and the security.

Firefox+adblockplus = no ad's at all! its amazing no google comercials on youtube or half-naked guys showing up when downloading music.

Chrome. Its fast, simple and heaven for a shortcut lover.
This guy said it. I think that Chrome has the superior interface, at least for a 1920:1080 screen. The incognito function is nice as well, you know, for doing bank related stuff. I used to use Firefox, but it started to get unstable on me(Probably a bad addOn.) Switched to chrome, and I've been a fan ever since that.

Chrome
Minimalism at it's finest. I've been a Firefox guy for years but I gave chrome a chance and I didn't look back. In fact, just a few days ago, i decided to try out Firefox again, for old times sake, and well, it went bad. The end result was that I uninstalled firefox and will likely never use it again.

Chrome takes what I loved about Firefox and what I like about Opera and what I love about Google and rolls it into one amazing product. I always admired Opera for it's minimalism and easy-to-use interface. I loved Firefox for it's Open-Source nature and add-on capabilities. I love Google because they continue to produce "Amazing" at a ridiculous rate.

That said, despite my love for chrome, is someone with IE were to ask me what browser they should use, I'd tell 'em to try Firefox, It'd be a bit closer to home for them, and It's still a good browser. (Miles better than IE.)

I've tried all of the browsers on the list except Safari on my ye olde PC. Pick of the bunch for me is Firefox. Sure, it does take an age to start up, but once it gets going it's far faster than IE and (in my experience) Chrome. Opera does match it for speed, however I've found it fond of locking up and requiring extermination by Task Manager.
