This foundation is pretty stupid. I mean they're basically saying, "Well it's awful that you're being bullied about this...but...it's kind of true...let us fix it for you...".

I thought she was quite pretty in the before shot. I looked at it before reading what she had done (for bias free opinion) and couldn't work out what she could have had changed. She looked completely fine. Then I read it's her ears and just about put my head through my desk. Not that I blame her all that much. Being bullied is seriously shit and it fucks up your confidence like nothing else. Just a shame no one around her stopped this from happening.

Bullies are weak, insecure people who need to make others think they have problems to cover up their own. If you're picked on, you're fine--they need the help. Never change because some **** wasn't hugged enough growing up.

Oh and it's possible to suffer horrible side effects from even this minor surgery. Like, scar doesn't heal properly, you get an infection, the doctors don't nail the operation quite right--bam, you end up with a very real problem.

Not just that, the bullies don't actually give a shit about her ears, they're just looking for something to poke fun at, and they'll find some aspect of her body and/or personality to make fun of her for now that her ears are "fixed", so it really accomplishes nothing.

Most schools do have anti bullying policies, however if the student doesn't say anything, or if teachers do not notice, then nothing will be done. It is a sad but true.

Under the NHS, plastic surgery will be covered if it is seriously proven to be affecting a persons self esteem or self body image in a manner that is proven to give an extremely negative effect on their mental well-being.
