Poll: Bullying: Thoughts?

I can say definitively that the long term bullying experiences I had from 4th-10th grade had a SUBSTANTIAL effect on my interaction with my environment. (11th and 12th grade were a little different, but not much.)

I need not list the effects as to spare myself the joys of whining.

The worst experience I had was when a kid was kicking me in the back of the legs during a choir session. I told the teacher and he yelled at me saying that I was a fucking liar.

I was bullied for being different: being Chinese. It stopped when I went to a private school, but because we used to live in a crap area of town, the chavs would bully me when I went to the park. Happens alot less now, but still happens.

I was. Briefly in high school. Then I made friends with the biggest guys in school and no one wanted to fuck with me anymore.
Middle school was alittle worse, but again, big friends really helps.
So does having a personality that makes you no friend to bully more than twice. If you're the kind of person who can laugh at yourself it doesn't matter.
I was never really physically bullied though, so maybe I'm no expert.
I never had a problem with it. It was more annoying than anything else. And I just kept reminding myself I'd be successful and they'd be changing tires.

Meh i was bullied to the extent where i had to leave 2 schools, but now it just makes me more proud of who i am, no i dont like sports yes i love sci fi and fantasy yes id rather be on my computer than at the pub, deal with it but yeah im also a bit of a mess rly.

I've had 9 Straight years of bullying in school, and fighting back ether backfired horribly in 3 ways:
1. I end up worse-off in the way of injuries
2. I get laughed at in the face, by the bully, while i'm KICKING HIM IN THE SHINS
3. I end up getting in trouble with the teachers for violent actions

so, as you can see,its a no-win scenario, and all started because I once said I was half-Polish (bringing on auschwitz jokes (even though im not jewish), jokes about me being an illegal immigrant (even though Ive lived in th UK for my ENTIRE LIFE, Dont speak a word of polish, and speak better english than many of my peers), and others that are not suitable to mention (polish racial jokes), and because I mentioned the Ginkgo tree once in a biology lesson (look it up), and as I'm smaller than average for my age (not by much, but hey, we can all be towering skyscrapers eh?) and not really strong at all (but sowhat, just cos I can't do 10 push-ups without loosing my breath and having to stop) bringing on other midget jokes, and of course,iton't stop there, but I think Ive written enough, or I'll end up boring you all to death.

And I now I happen to have a double life because of it, a circle of friends that have nothing to do with school, and a circle of 'Friends' [Term used very... liberally here] that are from my school.

It pisses me the hell off. I was bullied a lot in school, and I tried to kill one of them. Almost did too. Got in a lot of trouble for that.

Thankfully the police were nice enough to let it slide.

Last month, this paper reported on the infamous and untracable Troll Slayings of December, 2019. In these killings, random members of society from across the globe were brutally murdered whilst visiting the internet gaming discussion site "The Escapist". The cause of death, investigations concluded, was from a severe overdoes of verbal abuse and scathing wit. The human brain, unable to deal with so much criticism, attempted to dump the offense into other vital organs, causing fatal organ detonation of the messy kind.

Today, a young man by the name "Fur-Burt" was arrested in his home in Ireland. When confronted with the press outside the scene of the arrest, Furburt began laughing maniacally, accompanied by giggling furniture and an overly jovial trophy head.

OT: Meh, the bullying I got wasn't so much the "you specifically are hated" bullying, but more of the arrogant douche type who goes around reaffirming his blatant superiority over lesser mortals in the playground. I let this slide, as I had discovered the art of subtle wit that insulted the offending party without their relisation.

OT:when I was in 6th grade there was this guy that would always beat the shit outa me.
one day, I just couldn't take it, I blocked a punch of his and swung a punch right back at him. He fell to the floor crying, I was sent to the principal's office but I didn't care. It felt so good to just punch him right in the face. He never bullied me again.

But yeah I fucking hate it.

Welp, bullying sucks, but it DID give me the motivation to work out and learn how to fight, so thanks a lot, buillying! Confront a bully properly and they'll just feebly retreat from you.

Got bullied a shit load, eventually I learned to take it. It's given me a hell of a lot of self control...and made me a cheeky and sarcastic ass XD

Secondly guys that ridicule you are weak,

I wish people would stop saying this, as it is not necessarily true, especially in my case, one of the several that bully me, is incredibly strong and incredibly smart as well, he, (like me) is in top classes for all subjects, and is one of the most physically fit 'people' in my Games class (for those in america, its basically gym class) and has even onec picked me up by the neck and dropped me when I once confronted him about this whole bullying thing.

But the most important thing is to remember atleast for me:
It´s newer your fault.
