Poll: Bullying: Thoughts?

i was bullied alot and gave payback, i bullied and got payback ... there is always someone tougher and always someone weaker than me so here is what i've learned from this

i accept the hand that i've been given , i don't like people ,crowds and social activities ... i am alone but not lonely , and suffer depression and social anxiety so bad my soul is tainted , yes i know i could end it and prove them right, but no i'll out live them and in private ... giggle my ass off

Yes, i was fucking bullied alot when younger, I turned from a careless happy boy to a lonely sad boy because of it.

Apparently now, because of it, im alot smarter then most people at my school.

Ever seen the movie Welcome to the Dollhouse? That movie makes me cringe with how horrendous everyone in that movie is, even the victimized protagonist.

Tweens are the most horrid of creatures.

I used to be bullied a lot, not so much anymore for two reasons. 1. I tried beat up a couple kids who bothered me. and 2. I'm the nerdy guy in school so the people who normally would bully me keep quiet so I'll help them with their school work/computer. I was always treated a retarded person, why? My first name is Forrest. Some people think that because I share a first name with a fictional character, I must be exactly like that fictional character. In case you live under a rock, I'm talking about Forrest Gump.


Bullying certainly does effect people. I've been through counseling, which I doubt I ever would have gone to if it wasn't for the bullies. I don't even like talking about it today. It wasn't exactly a fun part of my life.

Not much is ever done about bullying. I remember in elementary school, the school counselor said, "The best way to fight bullying is to loudly say, 'STOP!'" You know, because bullies are always afraid that you may not like it when they're bullying you. Every school counselor I've ever been to said the exact same thing when I ended up in their office with a bullying problem, "Maybe they're just trying to be your friend." You know, because people always treat you like crap just to be your friend.

Wow, I feel like the odd one out here. I've never really been bullied. Of course I have had awful things said to me, but I have never been in a situation of being regularly bullied and making my schooling life horrible.

Ya same here. I feel like I have a really good life after all of these stories.

Made fun of you for Zadok? That name is fucking awesome. Seriously people should have names like that more often.

EDIT: last time I actually got bullied: 9th grade kid was throwing shit at me, talking like a retard (not his normal voice but using an obnoxious fake voice that he and like 6 dicks still do). Anyways he only threw a few bit's of paper at me and started whipping another kid with his belt. (this guy is 16, whipping another student in class) anyways I caught him glancing over at me, and sure enough he tried to whip me. I grabbed the belt midair yanked it away and threw it across the room. And sure enough I got yelled at for throwing stuff across the room.

I know man, not to brag but my name kicks ass for uniqueness atleast. its better than some of those common sounding "popular" names that millions of people have. So when people messed with me for it, I just came to the conclusion that they're just jealous.

But as for the whipping thing thats sucks bigtime. but so what if you got yelled at you stopped that punk from whipping your classmate and made the bully look like a chump when you yanked it from his hands and tossed it away
