Yeah 360 CoD4 multiplayer sucks ass because everyones got a P90 with Frag x3. But on PC, you definetely see the P90 WAY less.
Whats wrong with P90 it is not cheap at all (M16 on the other hand...)
it's so cheap they nerfed it in TWL and removed it in the promod.

funny enough, the M16 was not.

I love the way shooters show the m16 as an awesome death cannon as opposed to the badly designed pile of shit it actually was.

Sure it is with stopping power.
The Ak-47 is definitely the best gun in that game. I've got it with Bandolier, Double tap, Extreme conditioning, and red tiger. I DOMINATE.

I'll take Extreme conditioning and Stopping power with Gold Des-ie-ty Eagle

I enjoy the game when i play it at friends houses, but after a while the mulitplayer gets to chaotic. Martyerdom only adds to the problem

I really love the single player for CoD 4 is fantastic, one of the best FPS campaigns I've ever played. The moment when you pull your half dead body though a city being turned to dust by nuclear radiation is one the greatest moments in any game.

But, I don't see the big fuss about the multiplayer. I'm about the only person who doesn't, all my friends still play CoD4 like theres no tomorrow, but I've understood what they see in it. I prefer Team Fortress 2, and thats on the 360, with no new maps for the year its been out, and the kind of lag that makes you cry. I still prefer it.

Fun game.

TF2 is better in my opinion; COD4 got boring after a few months, but TF2 is still fun, no matter what.

Playing COD4 on the 360 is horrible, as it's pretty much as swamped with annoying 10-year-old Americans as Halo 3 is.

PC version is still very worth your while, nonetheless.

EDIT: I have not actually played Single Player yet.

Average game in my opinion. I only got into the multiplayer for a week at most, so the campaign is definitely the better part of it for me.

Most guns are cheap with stopping power. The M16 is just cheaper than most.

Regardless, CoD4 multiplayer still fucking wins. Is there a sound more beautiful than "Friendly helicopter on the way!" after you get a 7 kill streak?

Well, yes, to be fair. But not very many.

I wouldn't have minded this post normally, but you felt the need the need to add in the factor "Americans".
That's stereotyping, no matter how you put it, and I don't like that,

So are you going to pretend that COD4 isn't played by 10 year old Americans? Because we both know it is.

The problem is, the only serios problem, is the annoying (and frequent) deaths on multiplayer modes, the requent fragging is just plain annoying, so i moved on to BF:BC and im having a great time, its tons easier than COD...

The single player was imo one of the most enjoyable story lines to ever play through. That sniper mission where you have to dash across enemy lines into an abondoned building was something i never expected to see. I still replay that mission over and over. Multiplayer for me is frustrating because no matter what i do, i always seem to be getting the little itty bitty red bar for connection strength, which is frustrating, but yet keeps me motivated to keep trying for that one good connection (only ever happened once when i got top connection). Sure, its taking me almost 4 days to get to level 35 on my first round of prestige but im not gonna stop. Mostly because i dont really have any other games to play online (MGO is having that gay little UDP Port connection error crap).

Also, i have never come across the whole grenade spam thing or many P90's. Hell i just use an M4 or that sub AK

It comes off stereo typical. I don't see why instead of saying "Hey look at that boy making money." He says "Hey look at that jewish boy making money"
What the hell does being american have to do with being young and ten? Thats like me saying

It's played by all the squeaky annoying 15 year old brits.

I'm not sure that this is the best game ever, but it's definitely up there for the time being as far as I'm concerned. Aside from Halo 2, I have never played a game's multiplayer anywhere near the amount of COD4. That is not through lack of other good games either, it is just right up my alley.

The levelling and prestige system gives you something to aspire to within the game, the gameplay just feels good, better than it does on BF:BC for example, and the online community is nowhere near as bad and full of screaming kids and utter morons, as that of Halo 3 in my experience.

Why does it matter that he finds the American 10 year olds more annoying? It?s only the same as saying ?I find the German language irritating compared to the more elegant French.? You can rip the piss out of the British accent all you want, I don't care - coming from the north of Britishland gives one thicker skin than most when it comes to the mindless racism-stick waggling.

As for the CoD fish ? I love it, all of it, but see what people mean by cluster-fucks and such-like. It is infinitely better and subsequently more popular (on Xbox live at least) than the monotonous, grinding dribble that is Halo.

It is a great game, though many say if they just combined Halo 3 and CoD 4 you would form the ultimate game. This could be true. It gives a lot for Call of Duty: World at War to live up to.
