Yeah, they just have to find a slut or a drunk woman, I guess. Not saying most men are the equivalent of those when it comes to sexual self-control, but it sounds like you're talking about the type of guy who flocks to sluts. Or are most guys easily seduced by sluts? Does anyone think that's true? =S

You think girls in general have the inside track because all we have to do is have round tits, a youthful face, and nice legs? Really? Well, all you have to do is be really hot and not a social retard and sluts will flock to you too.

No.

Men are built on constants, and women are built on variables. So its easy to seduce a man by working around those constants. Its impossible to solve for a variable with no frame of reference. Fairly simple math there. Women can proactively do things to work around those constants, but there is nothing a man can do, because the attraction is constructed in the womans mind.

I feel like women have the inside track when it comes to basic sexual seduction. Men will generally flock towards a youthful face, round tits and a nice legs and all the girl would have to do is dress in a way that shows off these assets and look open to conversation.
I am assuming you are a man if you think that's all it takes for us women to attract high-quality attractive male partners that one would actually want to shag.

You know, if I was completely indiscriminate, I could dress up in clothes that my culture says signal sexual availibility and go to one of a number of nightspots known for hookups. It would be easy to pick up and have sex with some guy. But you know, it wouldn't be that much harder for you to do the same thing - have a shower, put on a nice shirt, go to a meat market nightclub and play the game. Or you can pay someone to have sex with you.

I'm more discriminating than that, you probably are too.
You got me. I was speaking in general terms about my fellow men in that a good number of them use their dicks like divining rods.

Also, I hadn't considered targeted seduction rather than general, indiscriminate attraction.

Speaking from experience, oh yes they can. It's just a different kind of seduction. Honestly, I doubt any of them even know when they're doing it sometimes.

Thanks. Now we are about to see another crap teen vampire romance series on TV that people won't stop blathering on about.

Though, Scottish werepanthers with broadswords in other contexts would be sorta cool.
But think about all the fun we'll have making fun of the idiotic teens worshipping said 'vampires'.

Don't act like lines like:

Stephenie Meyer said:
"Aren't you hungry?" he asked, distracted.

"No." I didn't feel like mentioning that my stomach was already full - full of butterflies.
Don't crack you up. Or that things like this [http://www.mylifeistwilight.com/view/My%20Life/45030] aren't hilarious.

Besides, how else are all the lonely housewives and angsty teens going to find happiness without their furious masturbation over Edward and Fabio? They deserve happiness too! And in the process chances are much higher they'll leave us alone while doing so. It's a win-win situation.

The way I've seen it, there's a massive population of guys who are easily turned on by slutty girls. How else can anyone explain the hordes of men who would sacrifice loved ones for a chance to touch Megan Fox, for example?

Been there. Done that.

I am not proud. And I don't think I'm even that handsome.

Two words: Johnny and Depp.

On a more serious note: Hell yeah, they can. By being flirtatious, intelligent, and above all, charming. It also helps if the two of you have a common interest. Like, say, video games.

There is no such thing as seduction, only the ridiculous chemical reaction that makes one stupid and eager for naughty activities, caused by ones preferred mannerisms and circumstances.

For an example, watch any shy fellow stumble over his words in the presence of a woman hes none too familiar with.

If it was that easy for men those sex for money occupations wouldn't exist.
Dressing nice for a guy just doesn't cut it, the seduction process is long, torturous and often times fruitless.

I present to you:

Fabio.

Lonely housewives all around the world will eagerly spread their legs for him and fantasize all day about him riding in on a black stallion wearing nothing but a kilt to take them away to the Scottish highlands for some serious highlander loving.
NO! Just... NO!

As to the question, yes, women can be seduced as easily as men. It just takes a different sort of stimulus. I'd say although seduction always involves physical and mental aspects if you can get a to a woman on an emotional level it's easier.
To extend on this. Experts say the best way to get a women to sleep with you is to say you love her. Don't abuse that knowledge :p

Well, the whole 'men always have sex on the brain' stereotype isnt true. Thats a social/media thing.
I read somewhere that the average women have a higher sex drive then men. Not sure if it is true, but I do know that the average sex drive is around the same for both genders.

Women do get suduced, and it does happen all the time. Can they be suduced as easily? Yes and no.
Naturally yes, but because of society and morals, not completely.

There are many variables I guess.

I'd consider bisexuality for Colin Farrell.

What?

It's the internet I can say whatever the hell I want without repercussions, damnit.

Yes I think they can be as seductive.

I think this is obscured because of 2 facts. Firstly, where I am from at least, there are far more men than there are women, which means that woman can choose to be far more picky.

This is further exacerbated by point number 2: Men tend to be more easily turned on than women. Picture this. If a man went out to a bar with the intent of "pulling", most of the time it would just take a sufficiently attractive woman to approach him and say "hey, how about it" and that would be that, they'd be out of there and naked before you could open a condom packet.

Most women on the other hand, who had also "gone out on the pull" would not be so susceptable. Even if they found the man attractive, it would likely take more effort and time for her to be sure that he's the one she wants to go home with.

I do think that men can be just as seductive, but because of the above, it would make it seem not to be the case as 'Woman A' could be less seductive than 'Man B' but is still likely to have a higher success rate of seduction, not just in the scenario I describe above, but for the same reasons.

Oh ye of little faith, have a look at this.

Now while that's seductive in an almost feminine way, it's absolutely a seductive man. *drool*

Also, as has been stated - Old Spice Guy.

I dare you to go to a gay bar and tell me that men can't be seductive.

To elaborate, men and women have different qualities that are seductive. Most men (and I say most because I just brought up the gay bar example) don't get by on being flirty and coy or any of the things that a girl might use to her advantage. Men typically respond to the promise of sex, women typically don't. I can't really pick off the qualities in a man that would make him attractive in that way, but I'm sure being good looking and respectful are high on the list.

I have to ask this but how could you possibly "know that the average sex drive is around the same for both genders". Unless you have literally been both genders you could't really know that for sure. I haven't done vast amounts of research so I can only go from my own observations and of course this doesn't go for every scenario but I've found it is generally true that men think about sex more than women. Even if it is because of societal expectations or because of the media that doesn't really make it less true.

I've been ninja'd. Honestly, I came on to this thread to post this man. I will say it's quite subjective really. Obviously a straight woman will find men more seductive.
