Yeah.
I can tell you've got an accent, it's pretty strong, but I can understand you fine.

You sound foreign, but you aren't incomprehensible.

Pro-tip: if you are new to speaking English and have an accent, speak slowly and clearly. You might be tempted to hid your inadequacies by speaking fast, but speaking slowly and enunciating will save you trouble in the long run and be good for everyone.

Yeah, it's totally fine. Pretty much everyone who speaks decent english will understand you.

You're absolutely fine. Your diction was fine and the words were very easy to understand, but also you spoke very idiomatically, structuring your speech like an English-speaker would.

I wish English-speakers were as open to foreign languages...

Easy peasy the only word that was hard to make out was 'thought' (It's more four-t, you had a bit of an a sound in there) That's pretty spectacular if you've never practised speaking it. I've been learning German and practising with people for years and I struggle to make myself understood ordering a coke in a bar

Yep, totally understandable. Props to you for having mastered a second language, I think I'd like to learn another one as well someday.

You sound perfectly fine to me. I talk to a variety of people whose primary language is not English and you were more understandable than many of them.

"It's just that my mic is shit" was the best potentially unintentional deadpan delivery I've ever heard.
Seriously though, you're totally understandable, nothing to worry about.
5 stars for nailing a second language so perfectly, though, mate.

Yeah, you've definitely got an accent but it isn't an obstacle. I've had University lecturers worse than that.

I try but I don't have the money to learn any non-english languages :(

OT: Yep, I understood you perfectly. Nice accent, kinda heavy but not nearly heavy enough for someone to not understand you I think.

Greetings from a fellow romanian and welcome to the Escapist forums!

Yeah, I can understand you and I kinda knew where you hailed from the moment I heard your accent, but it's all good.

As others have said, I can hear the accent, but I can also understand you perfectly. For someone with good English skills or a native (like myself), they should be able to understand you without a problem.

Quite well actually, a noticeable accent but nothing bad enough to keep someone from understanding everything.

My thoughts exactly! Perfect line to end it with.

And yes, your English is fine. As people have said, definitely some accent, but you speak English better than people who ONLY speak English that I've been around. I'm always so impressed with people picking up English as a second language and being so good with it, when I can only speak English and often look at a word or phrase and wonder "Where the heck did did that come from, and why does it mean that it does?"

Dude, I work in the IT department for an international business school and compared to the people I deal with every day you sound Patrick Stewart. Really if anyone tells you your voice is unintelligible they probably just have their head too far up their own ass to hear it.
