Out of the four Marvel reboots that'll be linked into the Avengers, which is superior in your eyes?

They're all pretty good, Captain America would be my favourite, but I think Thor is a better movie and of course Iron Man is great for starting everything.

Have to go with Captain America. It's my favorite of the Marvel movies.

For me, it really holds up better for repeated viewings. Thor I got tired of after the second time seeing it. Iron Man holds up a bit better, but Captain America I can watch over and over.

My favorite was Captain America. Even though...the part when Bucky falls looks terrible and almost made me bust up laughing when I saw it in 3DI like Cap's character more than the others. Although the Iron Man movies were pretty awesome.

Does the Hulk reboot really count? I mean they have a new guy playing him. Is it just like Banner got a face transplant and everything else is the same as the Norton version?

- Hulk with Norton is actually very good movie, yet the ending fight is completely crap.
- Thor ? I still can't get over the fact that producers and quite big amount of fans find black actor playing Heimdall ok.
- I didn't see Captain America. Yet.
- That leaves Iron Man. Good movie, good acting, nice scenario and effects. :)

I tend to like Iron Man more compare to the others film. By all mean they are all good but I find Tony to be somewhat arrogant but he's still a good guy in heart.

I would say Captain America was the best movie, but my favourite is Iron Man. Mostly because Robert Downey Jr as Tony Stark is amazing. Thor was fun, but probably the weakest of the bunch in my opinion. Still a good movie, but not the best.

I found them all amazing excluding thor as I am going to see it soon, also Captain America I found so many silly illogical moments which kept pulling me out the film, like soo many of the bad guys just running at the captain... not even bothering to have a weapon just bum rushing them.

Yes, because it's exactly the same as Sean Connery, Roger Moore et all playing James Bond.

That's because they're looking at the performance and not the colour of his skin.

Alrighty then. That puts things into context quite nicely.

I think I enjoyed Thor the most, and its not just because of how insanely handsome that man is, I swear.

Also the Guy that played Heimdall was epic, he was really intimidating.

I loved Captain America, both the character and the film. the modest hero is a lot more endearing, though iron man is somewhat more entertaining he's not as likeable.

Hmmm... Probably Cap, that movie was the only one that I really thought was exactly right. I do like all the new Marvel films, but Hulk's ending fight was awful (and Liv Tyler was shit), Thor needed more Thor and Iron Man 2 is a bit awkwardly paced (and the villians from both films weren't really threatening enough). I think Captian America felt just right, as a ridiculously over-the-top WW2 movie. Loved it (and Hugo Weaving is awesome).

Agreed, weirdsoup, I thought we were over this "ZOMG Heimdall isn't black!". Also Thor's a redhead. Also Nick Fury is black now too, you don't see fans going off on one about that.

OT: Probably Iron Man, I quite like that he doesn't bother with a secret identity. Just because he knows he's badass enough to take down villains anyway. Plus a Tony Stark party would be AWESOME!

Just out of curiosity... Do you have the same objection to Nick Fury being played by Sam Jackson? Would you rather David Hasselhoff reprise the roll? At least you'd know it'd be a hit in Germany...

OT: I'd have to say the first Iron Man movie, but that's probably because how low my expectations were going in and seeing a good superhero raised the bar for the others, perhaps unjustly so, which they failed to meet.
