Other: Both. We have 2 cats whom I hold very dearly, I couldn't live without them, and my grandma has an awesome Flatcoat Retriever whom I also hold very dearly.

Dogs, cats have no emotions.

Cats, because cats make kittens and kittens are the bestest thing ever.

Also cats look better, smell better, sound better, they're easier to look after and cheaper to insure.

Cats are not cute, suffocate you in your sleep, see everyone in your neighborhood behind your back, and shit the worse smells imaginable.

Dogs will lead your blind, sniff out baddies or injured people and remain loyal.

Hey, just be glad I didn't say pirates vs ninjas....anyways....

In my opinion cats are lower maitinence and cause less general annoyence then dogs, and yes I have owned both dogs and cats and I would rather have something that doesn't listen to me at all then something that demands attention all day. Maybe its just my passive persona but im a cat person all the way.

Cats are awesome... If there is a God (and there isn't) it's a cat.

Cats don't really count as pets, as you are their pet or their captor. Dogs usually know their place but still have a personality.
