So I bought Arkham City today and while looking at the box art, I noticed that there is something very strange with Catwoman?s pants. They form fit her butt. Pants wouldn?t do that, not even latex or rubber, it would stretch flat across the peeks of the butt cheeks. In order to achieve the image the seat of the pants would have to be made from hand crafted and fitted hard leather, rubber, latex. Further it would probably end up being somewhat bulky.

So why someone who buy and pay for specially handcrafted weggy from hell escapes me. Though I would gladly volunteer to take the measurements.

I guess we can chalk this one to the sexualization of female characters. Not only did the cat suit need to be skin tight, but it must follow ever curve and be a very literal second skin.

P.S. If anyone ever needed a criteria to determine if someone was wearing a costume or merely had on body paint, it strikes me that seeing how it shaped around the butt would be a perfect telling factor. Though I cannot think of a reason you would ever need to make that distinction.

...do not look a gift horse in the mouth.

Fine! If we're talking about the whole costume, she is very acrobatic and whatnot, so I assume it's just for easier movement. Though, as for the butt thing, I just assume that either sort of formed there over time or it's simply to make her look extra "smexy" and whatnot.

...again, do not look a gift horse in the mouth.

Really? It's Catwoman. She is supposed to be seductive and oversexualized. Is there really a problem here anyway?

Can you post a picture so I can see what you're talking about? It's hard to judge if I can't see it for myself.

Please! DO PROVIDE PICTURES!!!!
Man seriously, how can I ever answer your poll without any form of visual aid!

Anyway,
what about superglue? (or for the more kinky escapists: honey) Or elctrostatic charge between her skin and those panties?
Or some piece of thin, solid armor-like material that is clapped around her butt or something.
Have you considered that?

You know, Lt. Obvious, you might just be in line for a promotion.

Actually, a superhero/ine wearing their undies on the outside might have this happen to them, if the undies were really, really tight. Though, a chastity belt type thing might work better.

Thank you Princess, I'm REALLLY glad you Ninja'd me there, and we even posted at the same minute.

OT:
I still think some form of glue would do the trick.

I'm not sure you lot have done your research properly. I'm going to go and spend thirty minutes looking at pictures of women's butts in pants made of form-fitting latex, rubber and leather. Once I am done I will report my findings back to all of you.

I am man and I am pleased.

If female characters want to wear skin tight stuff then who am I to stop them? Why would I want to?

Heck, I think we should apply for a research grant and do a 6 month study of female butts in various types of form fitting and taylored cuts

Perhaps, but alas, my report is already concluded.

*Shuffles papers importantly*

As far as I can tell, such a thing is entirely possible if a tightened seam is designed as part of the costume precisely where the... gap between cheeks is. Of course this means that the costume is specifically measured and crafted for the person who's going to wear it, and yes, it would probably be quite uncomfortable or at best pleasantly distracting. So possible, yes, practical, no. But I bet that we already figured out that it was quite impractical from the start.

Agreed, but only if we include an elaborate and flamboyant experiment with various sticky fluids and their skin-tissue-tightening effects on women's underwear.

This times infinity.
These pants are possible, but they would require a great deal of measurement taking.
I envy the person that took her measurements ;_;

Judging by batman's muscle detail, I'm just going to assume clothes are absurdly form fitting in that universe.

Wow, its hard to take bioware seriously when all the female characters are so......riiiiiiight.

Miranda's ass/breast hugging suit? An alien who's races primary feature is it can fuck anything? A shy submissive fangirl alien? Am I the only one who sees a pattern?

I guess there's Jack who doesnt fit in the mix, but she sleeps around with whoever so....
