I only cheat offline and even then only on boss battles.

I don't really like Cheating at all. I find the challenge of a game is what makes it fun, and although frustrating at times, it saps a good part of the game away when you use a cheat like God Mode or Infinite Ammo and such.

As for cheats like "Big Head Mode" or strange cheats like giving everyone in GTA3 rocket launchers and turning on riot mode, yeah, I'd use them. But I don't think of them as cheats because you aren't circumventing anything, just changing how the game works.

Offline, in singleplayer, because nobody can stop me and it's my game.

In multiplayer, never, ever, EVER.

I "cheat" in some RPG's because I get tired of dying over and over and over when I'm playing the game for the 5th/6th time. Plus, sometimes it's fun to play Uber Mega Character.

Seconded. Open up the console in Oblivion, then proceed to massacre every guard in the Imperial City. Good times.

I will abuse glitches if they're easy enough to do, and will sometimes cheat if the game comes with cheat commands. I wouldn't go to the point of purchasing an action reply or something. I'm noble online though, and would be at any new game I take to that stage. (lolwut, I know)

I cheat sometimes, y'know, to spice up a sandbox game like Saints Row or GTA 4. Just going on a mindless rampage and relieving some stress on those "poor, innocent people".
Heh, heh.

I never save with them enabled, though. Cheats would just ruin the experience if you played the whole game with them on.

After finishing crysis warhead, I cheated and gave myself quadruple health, infinite suit energy and instant regeneration. After doing so, I decided to play through the entire game by kicking every enemy to death in speed mode and destroying tanks by attaching C4 to some korean guy and throwing him at it. Hilarity ensued.

If I've finished a game, and it has no replay value (crysis warhead had none) then I'll happily cheat, and make minigames out of it (i.e. kicking everything to death).

I never cheat online, besides the fact that it can get you banned, it it an arsehole-ish thing to do to other people.

I might cheat on a game when ive completed it for replay value though. Or when i get stuck in half life 2 mods ill always get some noclip going on.

I cheat for fun, like in GTA: San Andreas (flying cars, ulimited ammo, etc.)
But I tend to do so in seperate saves, I enjoy beating the games without cheats.

I cheated on Oblivion for PC the first time I played it. Then I realized that you can't have fun cheating on that game so I stopped.

I used to cheat a lot when I was younger, but now I rarely do. I'd never cheat online.

I cheat in offline games after I play through them once. After that I just cheat and mess around and push the limits of my machine and the game mechanics.

I used to cheat all the time in offline games. Then I got older, and more skilled, and figured out it was more fun without the cheats.
