You could always get some delicious chicken tomorrow.smearyllama said:The juicy dark meat and the crispy, artery-clogging skin are my favorites. I don't eat chicken very often, though, so my tastes my have changed since then.
Now I want chicken... too bad I already went to Five Guys for dinner...<.<
Would it be possible for you to post your Grandmother's recipe?ohnoitsabear said:All of it! I have no strong preference in my chicken, and if you take the time to cook it, I'm sure as hell going to eat it.
That said, my Grandma's crispy chicken recipe is the best way to eat chicken, bar none.
It basically involves rolling pieces of chicken in a mix consisting mostly of crunched up corn flakes and then baking it, but I don't have the exact recipe. Hell, I don't even know if an exact recipe is written down anywhere.Souplex said:Would it be possible for you to post your Grandmother's recipe?ohnoitsabear said:All of it! Why would she remove the skin?game-lover said:I loves it all.
Though my preference is for legs and wings. I think they're both dark meat.
And I do have a special spot for skin. Especially with my mom removing the skin off all the chicken she buys for the house. It's a little irritating but she's stubborn.
Fast food or restaurant chicken is liked particularly because of the yummy skin goodness.
The skin, being as tasty as it is, is quite unhealthy. Skinless, boneless, tasteless chicken breast is a popular low fat, high protein, zero taste option that mom's and bodybuilders can agree on.Souplex said:Why would she remove the skin? That seems cruel.
