I voted no. Not for the religious aspect as I'm not religios, buuuu...

...uuttt I think death is a natural thing and I wouldn't want another me around, sure keep a profile of me or whatever but I think if we constantly cloned people it'd lead to a lack of self and eliminating death which I think is a bad thing. It sucks but, people need to die eventually.

You obviously have not ever heard of therapeutic cloning. I was referring to this where you ONLY clone the limb or organ, NOT the Whole person.[/quote]

Well, the thread is called cloning of people, most of the thread is about cloning whole people, you refered to clones rather than cloned limbs and finished your post discussing the creation of a new minority group.

I think you can forgive me my confusion? Anyway, my point still stands, just not at you.

First of all there is already too many of us. And the not-something-a-supervillain-would-do-uses for a complete human clone there are as far as i can see none. And then there is always the things that can go wrong because of human stupidity wich we dont lack.

Like killing evolution.

Depends on the purpose. Clone me for organ replacement, why not? Clone me to replace me, definitely not! Does the clone have higher brain functioning? Can it feel? Would it suffer? I'd have to say no. If it was just a mindless organ sack handily there in case my liver or heart needs some spare parts or replacement, I'd be all for it.
