Sort of.
But not really.
And you base that on... what? Being a bit of a tool?blackhandops said:alright for one whoever decides to boycott a game is not a real gamer. 2 COD is a hardcore game , you play hardcore games on CONSOLES!!! NOT THE COMPUTER!!!!! sorry to say.
Why AC2? That's being made by Ubisoft.Superior Mind said:I'm not buying it simply 'cause I don't like the trend of every new release game being more expensive lately without any explanaton so I guess technically I'm boycotting MW2 as well as AC2... and pretty much every other Activision game I guess. If Bob Kotick is really worried about a weakening world economy and the impact it has on his company I'm sure he could relinquish some of the $15 million he gets every year.
Ja but it's an offender to the "increased price, no proper explanation" rule.YuheJi said:Why AC2? It isn't that I don't think they should buy it if they don't want to. That is great. Don't buy it. Voice your dissatisfaction with it. It is how they are going about it that bothers me. Like Activision owes them something. That having dedicated servers is a right not a priviledge. It just reeks of arrogance. And that arrogance is going to be the death of "hardcore" gaming. Unless the "hardcore" gamers start buying 100 copies each they need to appeal to a broader market. They need to bring "casuals" into the fold and teach them the ropes. To make games like MW2 more attractive to them. Otherwise the next gen could be ruled by Wiis and Popcap.Swollen Goat said:I certainly don't begrudge you your opinion, but why are you so angry because people who aren't happy with the direction the company is taking the pc gaming experience don't want to buy the game? It's not like the OP is saying,"Even if you like the game, don't buy it!". He just wants those who are also unhappy to voice their objections in the form of not giving Activision their money.squid5580 said:Opposed. I am not a fan of whiners who resort to blackmail in a feeble attempt to get what they want. And please do not compare this to L4D2 boycott. They actually had some good points. This has none other than a bunch of spoiled kids having a temper tantrum. I expect this kind of behaviour from 3 year olds in grocery stores who want a chocolate bar. Not from a group of so called "hardcore gamers" who plan on buying an M rated game.
