Poll: Confess: How Much Does Sex Appeal Factor Into You Deciding What Games to Buy?

I won't lie, I've bought some games because of their sex appeal (i.e. Dead or Alive, Soul Calibur). I would be lying if I said "I just play it for the combos." With that said, the truth is that I don't factor sex appeal very often.

So Escapists, it's your turn to confess.

I assume you mean have I bought a game because of the sex appeal, and I never have. I have however not purchased games because they focus way to much on the bouncy bits, and for no reason that helps the game.

Nonetheless, I buy a game if it's good, not just of the chest physics of the females.
Those games get awkward when the friends come over.

Rarely, if I want more sex appeal I install a mod.

Usually I get affected by the possibility of being evil in the game.

It actually affects me in a negative way. I avoid games like that because when I play games it's to get away from things in my real life which include a "healthy" sex drive and not having a girlfriend.

Not very. I mean, if the characters are sexy enough (notice the neutral terms there ), that's an added plus, but I'm more of a gameplay person.

And for the record, the first DoAX was not that bad. The second however... eh...

After looking at the games I have, not many of them even have sex appeal.
