On me? None. I have 20/20 vision and a third set of receptors on my left eye's retina.

On women? Glasses.

On people in general? Contacts, because that way they can't have retarded "trendy" frames. Seriously, if you think it looks cool, go play in traffic while not wearing the glasses.

I prefer glasses but then again, I'm to squimish to put my finger in my eye with contacts on the end. Plus it's easier to care for and put on glasses.

Is it just me or is that blob getting closer?

Glasses for me, I'm like the majority of other people on here, and can't stick anything near my eye let alone in it.

I can't wear contacts so I go for glasses. Having Eye's worse than your entire family is bad.

Glasses and later Lasik Surgery.
I- wait, Lasik surgery?

anyway, I fucking hate my glasses. of my top ten biggest flaws of myself. glasses would be no. 2. (no. 1 would be my stupid cheeks) >.>

I don't need glasses, but when I do (and I will, even if it's just reading glasses) it will not be contacts. I don't mind wearing glasses- I think I look good in them. More importantly, I'd never be able to wear contacts. I blink far too easily; I'd never get the lenses anywhere near my eyes.

I had contacts for about a year in high school since I was in theater and would have liked to see anything when doing my part. However they were just a huge hassle and I ended up having some kind of reaction to them; my eyes would coat them in proteins so they'd get really blurry in about four hours. Glasses don't have the same health risks, like that of your eyes growing blood vessels to get more oxygen and thus blinding you.

To be honest, I should be wearing 'eye improvement devices' on a regular basis but I'm a rebel so I don't. No, just kidding. I'm actually vain, so I refuse to wear them. Not quite sure which one is worse.

And I can't wear contacts because anything having to do with eyes makes me cringe. Even just hearing that I have an astigmatism in my left eye and what that means is enough for me to tune out.

I've used contacts before, they always bothered me. I just stick with glasses, they're easier to maintain, and I think I actually look better with glasses.

I don't want to put the glass in my eye. That is kinda dumb in my opinion.
Most people get soft lenses. They're some sort of plastic polymer or something.
Contacts > Glasses. I swim with them in every day, open my eyes under water, and besides the occasional blurryness/foggyish thing from that (damn my lifeguarding job saving bricks at the bottom!) they're perfect. I get a wide field of view that's corrected and they really don't bother me ever.
That's funny I wear glasses while life guarding and I never had a problem with it :p
Understandable. I meant in 'inservice' or during my diving/swimming at the gym. Though I do get bothered when those ass hats splash water on my sunglasses.

i wear both, contacts when I am going out, glasses to work, and prescription sunglasses when I drive. really they all have their uses. If your eyes are burning, go buy another pair, or clean them real good again, should fix it. also don't wear them more than a few hours a day for the first couple weeks, let your eyes get used to them again

I don't need glasses at all, but I do have a pair of frames with plain glass lenses because I dig the way they look. If I had to have them for eyesight I'd probably have both depending on how I wanted to look. I don't mind putting contacts in either so that wouldn't bother me.

I've worn glasses pretty much my whole life. If I were to get contacts I probably wouldn't even be able to recognize myself without them on. Ha!

But I have considered getting contacts. Maybe one day I will.

As much as I hate putting them in I find contacts much better. My peripheral vision is so much better and everything just seems so much colourful. :p
