Oh, lawd. After potentially waking up next to some woman 18 years older than me at one point in the not-so-distant past, all I can say is....

...some women look younger than their years. Especially when there's several shots/beers in the intervening time....and she apparently fell in love with me? (And has a kid whose age-difference is HALF of mine to his...[13-26])

Great. Why can't I have that kind of success with people my own age?!

It's all a great punchline, life is, isn't it?

Depends.

There are the kinds of cougars that are pulling the "I REALLY WANT TO LOOK 20 AGAIN" and it just looks... bad, too much plastic surgery, or just the fact that someone 35, acting like they're 21 is just a turnoff, the appeal and the attraction is the older looks and behavior.

The rarer breed, are the women that just seem to take care of themselves better, or who knows maybe they just had a better plastic surgeon and didn't go crazy with it? It's a sort of je-ne-sais-quoi that shows a woman who's aged and been comfortable with it, enough to have the confidence to know they're still hot at their age- not someone whos insecure about their age.

Still, if we're talking realistically- I prefer girls my age

An wise old gentleman I worked with gave me some sage advice once:

"Fuck Standards, there's pussy to be had"

And then he took a pull from his flask and left to go get drunk and laid.

So yes to cougars. I'm 24 and been with a few of em.

Yeah. I don't specifically have a thing for them, but I enjoy all kinds of delicious beautiful women.

They are ferocious! What with all the biting and licking and um...um...yeah they are pretty cool (and experienced). Not so many hang-ups as younger women have.

Don't have a problem with cougars, but I would not date one. I have been with a slightly older girl once and something about it just seemed strange to me. I am 19 by the way.

I'd love me a cougar ^_^ I wouldn't mind being a toyboy for a smoking 50+ lady of the realm n.n

Twice the experience.

Youth is overrated when it comes down to sheer performance <.<

This reminds me of a time an old guy tried to pimp his leathery female friend out to a group of us (18-19 at the time) at a bar while we played pool, he kept saying "SHE'S A COUGAR! RAWR!" Awkward and hillarious.

Also why do a lot of people in this thread seem to perceive it as women your own age or cougars as the option. It's clearly both if you can get it. Just because you have a fling with a 38year old doesn't mean you're sworn of 24year olds.

I guess I wouldn't mind, but that would be a decision to make when the moment strikes. Also, I couldn't help but think...

Can a cougar also be considered a M.I.L.F? Cause I can't help but get that out of my head for some reason.
A M.I.L.F. can be a Cougar and vice versa. But the requirement for a M.I.L.F. is being a mother and Cougar is age, so a childless 38year old cannot be a M.I.L.F., whereas a 26year old mother cannot be a cougar.

I am a Dragonslayer, you read that right:
I slay dragons.

Look it up.
*Shudders* I've found this has a lot of regional variation to meaning, but I assume yours is the bad one. I knew two guys who claimed it meant redheads where they were from, they soon stopped once I told them what I thought it was.

I feel more on wavelength with those who are older than me for some unknown reason. I feel that those who are my own age are often immature and short sighted so I guess I could go for a cougar, but it isn't something I would hunt for like a mountain lion.

Goddamn I hate that term. I had to hit "no" mostly because anyone who refers to themselves as that (I AIN'T NO PUSSY, BOY, I A COUGAR RAWR) is completely unappealing.

I find women of all ages attractive, though.

If an older woman who goes after younger men is called a cougar, then what do you call an older man who goes after younger women? Oh right, a man.

Why do we need a word for this?
