I've dated some older women and they were just like any other girl really. I think most older women who go after younger guys like this have insecuirty issues or have been treated poorly by men and like the attention. I had no problem with dating or just hooking up with one, but I always thought it was fucked up when they would let me get to know their kids when I just barely met them. Ladies, don't do that to your children it's fucking stupid.

I am Female so if there is a hot male cougar i am there! but i don't think that is the correct term.

usually the cougars i encounter, they are just scary to begin with. and no amount of foundation is going to cover those crows feet.

..if it's the one in that picture, I'd say hell no.

So yeah, cougars kinda creep me out. Especially because if it were older men pursuing younger girls someone would call the cops. No different for women.

I always try going with someone 2 years within my age, no more. But, ofcourse, I'm still in high school.

That's just leaving out the fact said woman would be driving up to me in a black car and ask me for a good time, I'd run the fuck away. Anyone that would say yes should consider their personal safety, if you find girls riding up to you in a car asking you for a good time a good idea.
Heh, if it was the one in the picture I'd say the same, but I've found the problem there. You're in high school so it's not really the same for you as Cougars are known to go for males in the 18-25 age bracket, rather than the "Oh hey there, what's your name? 7 Years?" age bracket.

If thats a cougar i'm the king Queen of Canada
God save the Queen!
She's 40 and hot, she counts.

The idea's always intrigued me, and I'll honestly say that if the proposer was attractive I'd be gung-freaking-ho.
If you say so but she don't look like no 40 yr-old to me!
And that, my friend, is a beautiful thing.

Calling a woman a cougar is just wrong.

I perfure the term "MILF". Its much easyer on them.
But for them to be a MILF, they'd have to be a mom. Not every cougar is a mother, so that just doesn't always fit.
But how many cougars can you think of that arnt mothers? xD
I kinda just lump all good looking women into one group.

It's surprising how good looking Jamie Lee Curtis is after all these years.

On that note, it's surprising how good looking Jamie Lee Curtis is after all these years.

Doesn't sound appealing to me in the slightest.

Well I feel it's not really my place to comment as a 22 year old mum of two... but I can safely say that when I'm 35+ I won't be looking for a younger guy.
I've never dated anyone younger than me. I find some merit in the whole "Women mature quicker than men" sort of thing so someone younger than me would be way too immature for me, even sexually.
Uh. Okay, that's... relevant? ... I guess?
Well it's a discussion about Cougars... and being a woman this is pretty much the only input I had and I like to contribute to the Escapist.

If they're hot. It's perfectly possible for a woman of 35 years of age to be hot. It just doesn't seem to happen very often.

Asking a forum full of nerds with mild to severe social issues what their opinion is on anything sexual is never going to give an actual representation of the norm.
Shut the hell up man, you're perpetuating the stereotype. I'm a nerd with no social issues at all, for example. ITS POSSIBLE

If a woman would sleep with me, i'd be surprised. So age isnt a factor for me. Unless they're...really...old....*shivers at the thought*

If an older woman who goes after younger men is called a cougar, then what do you call an older man who goes after younger women? Oh right, a man.

Why do we need a word for this?
Aaw, that's cute! It's like you're justing starting to figure out that equality doesn't exist!

Double standards are definitly present. Get over it.

I don't go about meeting cougars, so I wouldn't know. Even so, they're not all MILFs.

Why not just say MILF?
Because not all cougars have kids.

So you're saying you don't care if there's no equality among sexes?

Predictable "Yes" spike in the 19 - 25 range; equally predictable "No" for the 15 - 18 range. Lulz.

Anyway there's a woman I work with, towards the younger end of the Cougar range. And I'd totally tap that.

Yeah, pretty much.

Sure, you could whine or complain all day about how unfair things are, but that's rather pointless when you could just go about your day actually enjoying things despite the inequality.
