Absolutely Cracked. I've spent many an hour reading about useless trivia on that website, but TvTropes just doesn't grab my attention.

I've spent some time on TVTropes, but Cracked is like crack. So many awesome articles. You can always find another one to jump to, too. Sometimes, I wonder how true some of the articles are.

Is this stuff true? Or do they make it up to be random and funny?
It's very likely a mix of both. Humor does play a part in some of the snarky writting, but I'm fairly certain some of this could be over-exaggeration. Then again, laws of older and modern times can be vauge, so it may just be amazing coincidences at play also.
Well, it's one of those things where I wonder if some guy actually turned a bulldozer into a "killdozer" and rampaged around a town. Or are scientists really using "mad scientists" techniques to kill mosquitoes? Did some guy really charge up a hill with one arm, a sword, and kill a whole bunch of guys during a battle? Some of them are difficult to believe.

I can attest that TV Tropes will suck up more of my life then cracked probably ever will.

That is true. But then comes the question, "Is it really that unbelievable?"

We do have Darwin Awards for acts of dumb, and people do crazy things every day, so I guess...almost anything is possible.

I'd give it to Cracked. TVT makes me open 30+ tabs, but usually I only read the first paragraph or so. With Cracked, I have 10 articles opened at a time and I read them all, then open a few of the articles at the bottom.

I used to read Cracked & Mad in the '70s & '80s, but Cracked on-line's constant racism in articles disgusts me so I avoid it.

I find them identically compelling, but TV Tropes is more satisfying, since after spending a few hours I feel like I have learned something about media in general. Cracked has some interesting articles but each is the product of one person. TV Tropes harvests the thoughts of the overmind. [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/WikiMagic]

Oh god, this is like making me choose between two equally fine sexy ladies.

That must be what Sophie's choice was.

TV Tropes, hands down. Sure, cracked has some interesting stuff in it, but I find trope articles are usually better written and suck me in for hours on end, while cracked holds my attention for much less time.

TvTropes is way more interesting. A lot of the articles on Cracked don't stand up to scrutiny. The "facts" will be off on things so they fit into the article theme better for Rule Of Funny.

TvTropes. For me to go back to a website after accidentally reading so many spoilers, it must be pretty freaking special.

If I had to choose, I think I'd have to say Cracked. I go there regularly. But I love TV Tropes so much that I cannot begin to stress how little more I like Cracked.

Um...both, I suppose.

I mean they both deal with completely different things which to me makes them equally essential.

Addicted...not really. But I rarely visit TV Tropes and I visist Cracked every day to read their awesome articles, so my vote is that.

Why not just ask "Which website do you like better"?

Ha! I only broke 4 of those 6 laws! Still, owning a permanent marker? Using a fake name on the internet? (meaning, everyone here could be arrested) And worst of all, SINGING HAPPY BIRTHDAY!? WTF America?! Someone needs to bring that article to the supreme court.

OT: So, uh, I guess I'm with Cracked just because I've never been to the other website.
