Addicted...not really. But I rarely visit TV Tropes and I visist Cracked every day to read their awesome articles, so my vote is that.

Why not just ask "Which website do you like better"?
Like I said, I was thinking about this after watching an episode of Extra Credits where Daniel mentioned that addiction couldn't be used in relation to games. He used 'compelling' as the word to describe why games hook you for hours, as did I after I quoted him.

TVTropes!

I love how informal some of the articles are. My favorite being this one [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/Tsundere] because I love the self-demonstrating articles. Not to mention the things I've learned from that site have enhanced the conversations I've had with my friends.

I really enjoy both sites, but the insights that TV tropes has on writing fiction fascinates me much more.

Ha! I only broke 4 of those 6 laws! Still, owning a permanent marker? Using a fake name on the internet? (meaning, everyone here could be arrested) And worst of all, SINGING HAPPY BIRTHDAY!? WTF America?! Someone needs to bring that article to the supreme court.
Dude, there are weird laws everywhere in the US. But that's a whole 'nother thread.

Cracked is a good read, but I have literally done a 100+ tab, 8 hour shift on TvTropes. On the plus side now that I've read a very large chunk of the commonly linked pages I can quite happily pop into it for an article or 2, no fear of linkstorms.

I used to read Cracked & Mad in the '70s & '80s, but Cracked on-line's constant racism in articles disgusts me so I avoid it.
Racism? Really? I read cracked every day and i can honestly say i cannot remember any instances of actual racism. Racism used in a satirical way perhaps, but it is always so obvious that surely no one would take them seriously.

On that topic: http://www.cracked.com/article_19419_6-parodies-that-succeeded-because-nobody-got-joke.html

OT: So, uh, I guess I'm with Cracked just because I've never been to the other website.
I can't help it. It must be said.

That said, I'm kind of stunned at how all those things could be called crimes. Seriously. Then again, unless we have Big Brother implants in our heads to monitor stuff like that, or you run into a cop with a memory of a supercomputer, most of them will never see a court.

I like the idea of TV Tropes better, but it suffers from the same overlayering and saturization that most wiki sites do. There are quite a few clever ideas contained therein, but for each of those, there are several that are either redundant, not insightful, or just simply do not apply. And the ratio seems to be getting worse. (You know you're in trouble when there's a section on how tropes apply to fan fiction.)

So I'd say Cracked, who - while it seems to be open to the aspiring writer - apparently has a higher and more consistent standard of content.

TV Tropes... But I'm pretty sure Cracked.com introduced me to TV Tropes.

I've had some laughs on Cracked.com, but it's TvTropes that I find to be the more compelling. I love taking stories apart to see how they work.

I think the fact that I just lost an hour because of the tvtropes links posted here speaks for itself.

Damn you! I was just about to go to bed too!

Both. I check tvtrope every time I encounter a new show or game or whatever but I also check Cracked.com everyday as I eat breakfast.

TVTropes, if only because I've already read nearly everything on Cracked. I could probably still get trapped in a Tropehole. They've both absorbed so much of my time, but I try to avoid TVTropes, it's scary...

I love cracked. There are some bull articles, but most of them are really interesting and well sourced.

Tvtropes introduced me to Cracked (and the Escapist, come to think of it), and still remains the greater time-sink.

Cracked, though I do read TVTropes now and then. I even have the app for both of them on my iPhone.
I don't know why I read them. They're just fun. Cracked almost always has an interesting article in every update.
