I'm sure I've been 'bullied' much more online than a lot of people, and why am I not affected?

Oh yeah, because it's online.

Cyber Bullying really annoys me, especially when it's made to be such a huge problem. I'm not saying it's not a problem, but in most cases it can easily be avoided. If someone is constantly harassing you on MSN, just block them or delete them. If someone is harassing you on Facebook or something you can delete them as well.

I agree, I'm just not sure how they can help. Having thousands of police officers online every day on every site that might have cyberbullies on it?

You know what is really cyber bullying? Someone takes your private photos (naked, with your girlfriend having sex, things like that) then posts them around on the Internet without your knowledge or consent.

And that is, from what I've heard, punishable by law.

If it's randoms from the internet, then it's nothing to worry about. I believe people say the problem is people they know saying things about them through the internet, although you can just block these sort of things anyway. It's basically just a more convenient way to bully someone, which is unbelievable cowardly as well. Maybe the police should get involved, but I don't see them making much difference.

If somebody calls the police or sinks into a depression because someone made fun of them on the internet then they need to stop being so sensitive.

The police/system justice is slow and inefficient.

The real justice is vigilante.
So start learning your ways of hacking into their accounts to later on ruin their reputation and get them banned from whatever site they are on.
Much more fun and rewarding than simply putting them on ignore list.

Also, I've heard of those two news. Purely tragic, yes...
But horrible people are horrible when they are given the power of anonymity.

The police can't do much anyhow. Not that they would investigate it.

It would be the most ridiculous thing in the world if people began to get arrested for "CyberBullying". How can text written by random people cause you any physical harm? Just doesn't make sense to me why you couldn't just ignore it?

As a black-hearted Anon bred from the pits of 4Chan I have both experienced bullying and rAIDS. Neither are particularly nice and neither really affect me any more.

DISCLAIMER: I am about to sound a bit cruel here, so I advise you read the following twice before calling me heartless.
As for all the news stories we see of suicides and such by bullied individuals, I think it's best some didn't stick around to contribute to society because they wouldn't be able to handle the stress of it.

If you off yourself because you can't handle cyber-bullying by someone who doesn't have the gall to say shit to your face, I think humanity would be a tint better off without you.

When Anonymous decides to constantly fuck with you and everything you do.

This term is also used to refer to a site raid.

tbh unless the person has got experienced hacking skills there is no point. any thug can go on the internet a create a dummy account and annoy a few people but end up getting blocked ban then bored.

I don't really think we've clearly established what constitutes as cyber-bullying as of yet.

Then again, what constitutes as actual bullying? It's a tightrope.
