And the Black knights and capra are not the easiest boses in an RPG ever unless you never played any other rpg.
I literally have more trouble with the basic balder knights than I do with either of the two you mentioned. Capras are sloooowwwww and telegraph their attacks forever, and black knights have a very elegant, flowing moveset that is also hilariously predictable and easy to parry/roll BS.

And those hard boses: O&S, BoC, Gargoyles, Seath, even Gwin
O&S are easy once you learn to keep both of them in view and always kill smaug first. BoC was cheap, boring, and badly designed, not hard and the evil chariot boss in DKS2 is a somewhat similar fight, just less luck based. Gargoyles were piss easy as long as you upgraded you weapon a few times, and there is no reason not to considering unlimited titanite is available from the very start. Seath is only hard if you try to speed kill him or if you are trying to cut off his tail, otherwise "bait lazer-> get in hits-> book it" makes it a one try boss. Gwyn is easy to parry to death and everyone really should know how by the end of the game.

but some of those I don't: miracles (except Wrath of the Gods and Sunlight Blade) are mostly useless for PvP purposes
I don't give a single solitary fuck about trolling PvP so I wouldn't know. I just know they are much better at PvE this time around.
warping isn't an improvment ... it's there to fix the boring world and level design so you don;t have ti trudge back through the coridors. By cintrast the lack of warping in DKS 1 actualy served to amplify the feeling of loneliness and hostility, of the desperate struggle you face
Yea gonna just agree to disagree. Only thing I felt running from place to place in DKS1 was boredom
no more humanity farming (yeah ... it got replaced with soul farming to reach max level and use the broken ass mundane to ruin the game)
You don't have to do that you know? I don't see why you would. Most people cap their build at around SL150 and have fun, so you can't blame the game for you desire to intentionally ruin the game for yourself. You could grind to max SL in DKS1 and make the game piss easy, but there was no reason to do so then, and there isn't now.

sharper opening dificulty spike (where? seriously where? DKS 1 throws a boss fight down your throat before you even have a friggin weapon. DKS 2 takes at least an hour to get to it's first boss fight where the most basic hand eye coordination can take you through it with 0 dmg taken)
In DSK2 you have: worse starting equipment (most classes have no shield or a garbage one, cleric has almost no armor and can't even use their weapon, knight has nothing but a broken shortsword to fight with), less healing (one flask, two if you know about the well in majula), worse flasks (bone dust is insanely rare compared to firekeeper souls), much more limited titanite (small shards don't become unlimited untill you beat Old Iron King), less avalible equipment (I could have the elite knight set and a zweihander within a few minuets of starting DKS1) harder bosses (Last Giant makes Taurus demon look like even more of a joke then it already was, and pursuer is still harder than the gargoyles who spend like 30 seconds winding up for their only deadly attack), and Hollowing (and you aren't going to have effigies to spare until much later). And that is just off the top of my head.

I think there is no arguing here. I don't understand how Capras and Black knights are hard but DkS2 enemies aren't. What in DkS1 even comes close to the Darkdiver dungeons?

Seath was hard? I killed Seath on my first attempt. I think I got lucky because I was wearing the red shield on my back, the one you find in the painted world, but still. And good thing too. That is one booooooring level. As all of the Duke's archives and the rest of the second half of DkS1.

I haven't built a single mundane weapon so I wouldn't know. My maces and old whips, both dual stanced left lightning infused, right standard, work just fine. What I wouldn't give to try out the dual old whips on some bosses in DkS one. Or heck even whip the old maneater into shape :)
