Poll: Death Metal: Do you likez it?

A new poll to let the internet know. Do you like death metal? (Metal with growling)
I know that my description includes alot of genres that aren't even death metal, but you get the point.

I'm also not asking you if you like all of it, just your general opinion of it.

Me? I'd say I would be the guy who listens to it quite often. I did not like it at first, but it has grown on me.

No I'm more of an industrial metal/grindcore type.

I do like that guy Burzum though.

Um... Not really. Cos a lot of bands just scream. And while I like the guitars and drums and whatnot. I prefer singing.

Yes, I love it; when done right it's absolutely brilliant. Also to someone above: Tool aren't metal.

Bolt Thrower are my favourite DM band.

Job for a Cowboy aren't Grindcore, they're Deathcore. One is good, one is utter rubbish.

I like the more melodic death or really heavy black metal. If you're talking about the absolute nastiest stuff like Napalm Death or Cryptopsy then not really, because it seems like they just go "look how much fukkin' noise we can make" and then have the backup guitarist play one powerchord while the lead guitarist plays what sounds like half of a lick that got rejected from a Slayer song over and over and the vochalist makes completely guttural sounds with no timing whatsoever. I'll listen to a very small amount of Cannibal corpse's stuff from time to time but that's as far as I'll go.

JFAC aren't grindcore. Grindcore is a fast 'n' furious type of punk. I guess it can sound pretty atonal to some.

I'm pretty neutral about it, but I like the music in Metalocalypse so I guess I lean in favor of it.

I tend to prefer more melodic metal, however, though I'm not sure what genres those would be.

My favorite bands are Cannibal Corpse, Death, and Decide. So yeah I likes the death metal. Ooh they are also alphabetical.
