Haters don't usually have a reasoning for their destruction but it's obvious to tell that you have a sense of intelligence, thus, respectable opinions.Hammeroj said:Well, that's a surprise, most of the time I get called a hater.captainfoss said:I mean no disrespect by any means, i'm rather glad to find someone whose opinion isn't the same as everyone elses.
I was just curious of your perspective in the matter of how to start Diablo III. I thought this was a unique way to go by you do have a point, I wasn't too thrilled with the composer either and i'd much prefer something more than just sketches.
Unfortunately, that is what most writers do in terms of writing articles about games they haven't actually had the chance to play yet.
It may well be unique, but only unique in the sense of lots of cliches being assembled in this particular way. There's more to say about it, but I think you got my point.
If you write an article about a game, write about something new you've found out. Like the no-offline news, or the news about new classes and the like. In this case, write about the trailer, but don't just go "Here guys, this is the stuff you've known for months. Fascinating, huh?"
Nail on the head. At first Blizzard tried to present this guy like a sort of an alchemist, but then they just went what the fuck and pretty much made a necromancer that looks tribal.captainfoss said:The witch doctor is a unique idea, but by all honestly, his existence in general is a little pointless.
I agree that a writer trying to touch on a topic as such, his focus showed be to find something that is unknown as opposed to regurgitating, thou, that alone isn't the easiest thing to do when it's for a game that already thousands have played via beta.
I remember the alchemist model when the rumors of Diablo III were first hitting the fan.
If I remember correctly, one of the classes had a time controlling skill as well.
