Now that its been a while since I played it through and I can set aside my rage and think objectively I can honestly say that it was the worst gaming experience I have ever had. Nothing but frustration. Over and over again. At least the recent trend of insanely short games meant that it didn't last too long (though it bloody well felt like it).

Did it fal financially? Hell No.

Did it fail just generally as a game? Depends on your opinion.

The biggest success for me was the John Woo level and Nazi Zombies which I've loved playing since Nacht Der Untoten.

It's just I find that it is WAY to over rated all my friends tell me to buy Black Ops and it won't be a dissapointment but I borrow my dad's copy and I freak out because I can't ever afford any weapons.
As you level up, get points, and do contracts, you will make money. After playing a few games I can make enough money to make a full new class from scratch. The main problem with this system is that there shouldn't be any level restrictions on certain guns, but then everyone would go for the best weapons at the start. I actually hated MW2 personally and when i look at both games, i don't know why, but the slight changes made me like Black ops over all the other COD games (who knows, maybe MW2 just need a few edits to make me love it).

The single player, on the other hand, goes to any other COD game that this one (except maybe WaW).

Honestly, I find that Black Ops failed terribly although i'm not sure why it's just how it's level up and buy instead of having either.I find the gameplay feels sort of scrappy.I'm not trying to sound evil but it says i could enable violence but yet i haven't seen very much of it mostly it's in Nazi Zombies (although like I said i'm not trying to be evil). But would you please post your opinion? Because to me it just failed.
I haven't even played online multiplayer and I have to say yes.
The single player was enough to turn me off the rest of it.
For the first half of the game I thought it was awesome, then you find out it tricked you into thinking it's a sequel to World at War, which I personally loved.
Then on top of that you've got some pointless arbitrary ending to do with JFK? like.. yeah okay.. wait, what!?

I didn't get into the multiplayer, so I guess I'm only talking campaign here. I thought it was great up until the end. It actually kind of pissed me off that they set up the guys torturing you as the bad guys and then expected you to immediately side with them once they asked you to.

Aside from the fact that Mason had NOTHING to do with the CIA or the mob >.<
