Valen Dreth [http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Valen_Dreth] was the Dumner who insulted you at the very start of the epic Elder Scrolles IV Oblivion. If you played the Dark Brotherhood quest line you got the oh so sweet joy of killing him.

That guy that would make fun of you no matter which race you started as? Yeah I had more fun then others did...
I thought it was funny to come back and give him some sweet, sweet, death. I bow-n-arrowed him a few times before I actually walked up and realized he could/would beg you to not kill him...then call guards...the bastard.
Oh my gosh, I roleplayed the heck out of that mission. I unlocked the door, hit him with a silence (so he couldn't scream) and paralysis poison, walked up to him and said "Poor little Dark Elf. Talking so high and mighty behind those big iron bars, never once did you think that someone could actually reach you. And so close to your release day too. That's right, you're going to die in here; and the guard isn't coming for you. *stab*"

Actually I have no idea, but I didn't run into your problem. It was more of a roleplaying thing than a practical thing. Whether it mattered or not, I have no idea.finnugold said:

I'm not sure but I think I might've done him with a bow and arrow while his back was turned. An act of mercy if anything.
When I was leaving the cell after he said that I was going to die in there, I seriously just stared at him as I slowly side-stepped out of the door and imagined doing that L sign with my fingers and blowing a raspberry at him.

No. I usually don't find revenge to be interesting at all.

Nah. I figured that him spending his life in jail while I got to roam the countryside, free as a imp, was revenge enough. Which begs the question of why such a nice, forgiving soul would join the 'Hood.

i enjoyed all the killifications i did.

When I made it to him I didn't even care. I was too twitchy from dodging all of the guards for my bonus and too annoyed with timing the jailer leaving his room. He got an arrow between the eyes before he could speak, and I was out of there in a flash.
The moose-head murder, though, was genius. I positively loved killing someone in a way that reflected their own lifestyle so well. Smashing rich people under their trophies, killing a guard captain the moment he lets his guard down, those were what I enjoyed.
