The levels become Creepier when you learn that GlaDOS has probably cleaned out all the bodies and that the true ending is you being pulled back into the facility. GlaDOS voice is also a large factor

First one was slightly creepy at points, like finding some of the hidden messages. Second one wasn't so much.

It was a bit creepy when you are going about the back areas of the abandoned test chambers, like the pump stations and Cave Johnson is suspiciously quiet.....

The first one? Yes. It created a very unique atmosphere, executed it well, maybe not creepy, but there was something very unnerving about it. Portal 2, didn't manage to capture this same unnerving. The ending, kind of, up until the 24FPS pre-rended rubbish that is.

I found this part of portal 2 creepy.
**maybe spoilers in this video**

But Portal 1 wasn't bad.

somewhere the backstory of GLaDOS is a bit creepy.
-SPOILER-
it,s a bit like the "and I can,t scream" trope for hundreds of years GLaDOS has been experiencing her death countless times without any way out.
Also the idea that they put some persons BRAIN inside of a computer forcing her to live forever and ever (possibly past the end of humanity) with the only companion being Chell (who is mute for the entire games).
-SPOILER END-
She did mention seeing some humans. I mean, it is GLaDOS but a lie like that is so out of place.
It,s probably a lie,
she said she went outside which is impossible for GLaDOS (just look how HUGE she is!) she did to mess with Chell,s mind (to make her even more depressed) I think there are still humans outside Aperture though.
Actually, she just said she saw them. Security cameras?

The first one was creepy when the polished, clinical facade of the facility began to crack and you started seeing what was going on behind the scenes.
The second one.. well, not to spoil anything here, but let's just say down below, it reminded me of Bioshock. But then again, you always had company in one way or another, so that helps.

GLaDOS's scream when she is replaced with Wheatley is creepy as hell.

Portal 1 is creepy.

Portal 2 is creepy and depressing.

[spoiler/]No one has a truly happy ending. Cave Johnson died a bitter old man. Wheatley is lost in space with the most annoying companion ever. GLaDOS found redemption then threw it all away. And Chell is exiting into a world that could protentially be worst than what she left behind. The only one who got a happy ending was the Space core.[/spoiler]

They're both more hilarious than anything else but still, they're a lot more twisted than most "Mature" games.

Listening to that physically hurt.

I didn't find the games really creepy though.

First time I played Portal and got to leave the test chambers and enter the offices I was thrilled. Finally, I could get revenge on the scientists who have been testing on me and taunting me. When I got in there and saw no one there I freaked out and thought maybe the computer voice was just one lone crazy, sadistic scientist. It freaked me the hell out and I honestly was waiting for him/her to jump out and I would have to fight them.

I don,t think camera,s would survive 1000+ years of exposure to the element,s.

It's one of the non-creepiest games I've played.
I laugh and smile the whole time.

You DO know that in Portal 2 there are cameras all over the bloody place?

There's maybe the chance GLaDOS has them produced and just placed up on the surface, in the same inexplicable way turrets are moved about?

I found the beginning extremely creepy, when you are going through the test chambers with GLaDOS she just spews liquid hate. Everything she said was funny but all I managed was that nervous laughter like if you were kidnapped and you rapist/killer wants to have a cup of tea before murdering you.

The madness and horror of the Ratman's dens certainly counts as creepy.

The rest of the game not so much, although the discovery that the entire facility is abandoned and dead was kind of shocking as well.
