I got a bundle with Prince of Persia the Sands of Time... for Christmas 2003.ten.to.ten said:After literally about two-dozen people quoting a remark I made in another thread about how I never knew anyone who didn't have to replace their PS2 at least once, I couldn't help but get curious. How many escapists had their PS2 break on them, and how many times as it happened to you?
I've gone through two PS2s, the first one I got in 2002 as a bundle with Final Fantasy X, and that lasted until 2005, when the mechanism that moved the laser died. I then bought a slim PS2 in a bundle with GT4, which, thankfully, still works perfectly to this day. What about you?
No, next year is a leap year.Mister Benoit said:My original Ps2 which was from a year after launch eventually stopped reading DvD's and then stopped reading Ps1 games then stopped working altogether. I ended up sending it in and they sent me another one.
The same problem is now reoccurring but I never use my Ps2 for dvds regardless. The only way for me to launch a Ps1 game is to launch it from the Memory card selection screen.
My Ps2 probably has more playtime with Ps1 games than Ps2 games so it kind of sucks for me.
My 360 has died 3 times though within 3 years, every September lol, this year must've been a leap year.
