Well I'd say that I am only part geek anyway, so it doesn't really bother me what sort of person they are, as long as it's fun.
Same here, most the time the geek girls around here are a bit to geeky for me, fine to be a friend but nothing I would want to date.

Geeky and nongeeky both appeal to me. As long as these things do not happen.

I don't have anything against dating people who aren't geeks, but to be honest I really do prefer dating geeks. I mean, they're kind of already used to nerdy stuff, so I don't have to try and explain what the Fullmetal Alchemist poster on my wall is, or why I've got a little Gurren Lagann on top of my TV. And even if I do, it's easier to explain. Plus, I generally have more in common with other nerds, which is nice. I mean, if I ended up dating someone whose life revolved around sports... well, I can't imagine that relationship would last too long. There's nothing wrong with sports, but I don't find them interesting, and if they didn't find anything I liked interesting, well, it's just hard to imagine where one might take a relationship like that. Answer is... probably nowhere.

Anyways, the point that I already made still stands, I prefer to date fellow geeks/nerds because we've got more in common and I feel more comfortable around them.

I would like a girl gamer or someone who played games even casually.
Like my ex. she barely played any games but we did have other things in common so I guess as long as I have things in common with the girl it doesn't really matter.

Again, I'm hardly in a position to be picky. I would prefer a girl who I can share my hobbies with, but in truth I'll take any one that'll accept me as I am.

Not really. Do I really want my ladyfriend to be playing video games and the like with me? I guess I wouldn't say "no", but it certainly isn't something I look for in women.

I honestly don't know what I could do with or talk about with some one if they weren't a geek.

I tend to like nerdy guys. I don't generally have a preference except that I don't like dumb guys. I need someone I can talk to.

I normally prefer my women to like to party, and have a troubled past apparently. I don't try to look for them, they normally end up finding me :/ Nothing wrong with that, just that normally with the troubled past comes drugs, and with drugs comes sex with guys who aren't their boyfriend if you catch my drift.

OT: I prefer creative/arty women. I wont be picky, just a preference.

I tend to like geek (I personally despise the words "geek" and "nerd", it's self-demeaning, and yet we all for whatever reason take the label.) girls, because I find they're easier to connect with. When people I like share more in common, in makes it a hell of a lot easier to date.

I would prefer a gamer or an anime-geek. It would be easier to talk to someone who shared similar interests... Plus it would save me money... Theres also cosplaying! Much fun to be had!!!

But I wouldn't mind dating someone whos non-geek, as long as they can tolerate me...

Well I do not really consider myself much of a geek most of the time(Im part time ;D) it helps to date girls with the same interests and much of the time they turn out at least a little geeky.

Yeah, I'm a gamer girl, and sometimes I need to just sit down and lose myself in a game for 8 hours or so. If I weren't with a geek, he wouldn't get it. Definitely need a geek.
