lol, whether they creep you out or not I don't think it's gonna be a real problem in about 40 years... they won't exist... not being rude, just saying that genetically and statisticlly speaking there won't be red heads for much longer.
Kinda sad too... because some of the cutest girls I've ever seen were red heads, not really ginger... but red heads.
Actually, the study used to "prove" this was not in any way scientifically sound. Red hair is caused by a recessive gene, one which is often passed through multiple generations without occurrence. My red hair is traceable only by my great-grandmother's aunt on my maternal side and nowhere present in 90 years on my paternal side, yet it occurred in both me and my sister. Not to mention that this would assume no red-heads would breed with each other along with all red-heads dying in under 40 years.
Now, as for do they creep me out? Of course! I know how we think! If you find any ginger who acts nice, you best be looking for where she's hiding the knife, 'cause it's a ruse to get you to not suspect her! I've known probably two dozen of my kind by now and not one of them is a decent citizen.
But as for are we discriminated against, no, not as far as I can tell. The most I've ever been picked on about my hair color is by other gingers and our nice chats about our genetic deformity, but that was all fun and games.
