No. Except for one of my friends younger brothers, his whole family has curly brown hair, except his younger brother who has straight red hair.

Red heads?

Really?

Red heads?

Not people with different skin tones, or genetic disabilities, or sexual orientations?

People with RED HAIR?!

Didn't that die out with the "four-eyes" thing about glasses when people stopped caring?

Why would 'ginger kids' freak me out? That's really quite random. It's like asking somebody if cheese frightens him.

No, anyway.

I thought so too. I knew some red headed people and freckled people at school and I can't say I ever saw them get picked on any more/less than anyone else.

But this guy on Who wants to be a millionaire, that was seriously his job, to make sure red headed kids at school were proud about themselves and had equal rights and opportunities

What the hell? Why would someone's hair color freak me out? This is a weird question.

I second this. There are some red headed kids in my school and no one gives a shit about their hair color. Any jokes they made about their hair color are usually self deprecating and there is no discrimination or anything of the sort against them.

I don't think so, but I don't really know.
I only knew one real ginger kid (pale, red-haired, freckled) and she was nice I guess.

Um, aside from an episode of South Park that I've never actually seen, I've never even heard of discrimination against red heads. So, this question is quite weird to me.

lol, whether they creep you out or not I don't think it's gonna be a real problem in about 40 years... they won't exist... not being rude, just saying that genetically and statisticlly speaking there won't be red heads for much longer.

Kinda sad too... because some of the cutest girls I've ever seen were red heads, not really ginger... but red heads.

What organization did this guy work for? I've never even heard of any sort of group for red haired people, like NAACP or LGBT, for example.

Your avatar perfectly shows my emotion towards this thread. Besides, I'm pretty sure that my red-head friends all have fierce tempers, so I wouldn't say anything even if I did have some kind of racism against them.

No, red head girls with freckles can be very hot. As for gingers no, they don't freak me out at all. Why should they?

Actually, the study used to "prove" this was not in any way scientifically sound. Red hair is caused by a recessive gene, one which is often passed through multiple generations without occurrence. My red hair is traceable only by my great-grandmother's aunt on my maternal side and nowhere present in 90 years on my paternal side, yet it occurred in both me and my sister. Not to mention that this would assume no red-heads would breed with each other along with all red-heads dying in under 40 years.

Now, as for do they creep me out? Of course! I know how we think! If you find any ginger who acts nice, you best be looking for where she's hiding the knife, 'cause it's a ruse to get you to not suspect her! I've known probably two dozen of my kind by now and not one of them is a decent citizen.

But as for are we discriminated against, no, not as far as I can tell. The most I've ever been picked on about my hair color is by other gingers and our nice chats about our genetic deformity, but that was all fun and games.
