Bearing that in mind, I do agree with a lot of his opinions, even if some are a little bit picky. The fact is, even the best games have flaws, and it's these flaws that Yahtzee picks up on for comedic value

Sometimes he's good, sometimes he's bad. For example, that time he said Battlefield: Bad Company 2 was primarily a single player game. No, Battlefield games have never been about the singleplayer.
No, I don't, because even he said that nobody likes him if he doesn't bash the game. And didn't we just have this thread about 2-3 days ago?
I don't think it's necessary to agree or disagree with him. I can agree with points he's raised without it affecting my opinion of a game he is reviewing. I might like or dislike it for completely different reasons. But he does point out what a lot of game reviewers won't tell you about a game, and he's often the natural and necessary complement to other review sites, wo give vastly hyper-inflated reviews and treat every game as if it is the second coming of Christ and hands out free ice cream and chocolates.
Let's face it. Most games are simply "meh". Entertaining enough to play, but nothing that sets them apart.

I agree with his philosophy of not taking shit from games, and I agree with his standards. As an RTS fan I feel obliged to disagree with his tastes, and I don't care much for story (they're never good anyway), and I only focus on gameplay.
In certain instances, yes I do have a similar taste in games to him. For example, his review of Red Dead Redemption sums up my exact feelings for that kind of sandbox game. Sometimes he just "sort of likes" some games that make me want to shout from the rooftops how much I like them, such as Braid and Infamous.
I agree with him on the good games. I myself enjoyed HL2, p0rtal, sands of time etcetc.
But can't agree with him on the bad games, for instance Borderlands or GTA4 (GTA's here probably cuz i'm a GTA fanboy and haven't actually played the whole game (only partly), but hey, I'm entitled to my own opinion).

Yes, most of the time.
Even when the game in his sights is one that I love, his points are still generally valid. As with Bioshock for example.
The only one I can think of where I completely disagreed with him was Mirror's Edge. For all it's flaws (and good god, there were a lot of flaws) it was still a ton of fun.
