Of course. I actually remember a fight where I got floored, so I grabbed his nuts and pulled.

Soon brought him down to my level.

If it isn't for "fun" or competition, I play for keeps and that means if I have to kill or permanently injure the enemy then so be it, nut shots are no exception to this.

I would never "fight fair", I'd do what I needed to do to minimise damage to me and maximum to him, so I could run away.

here's two scenarios (because I just love doing this kinda shit):

SCENARIO 1: get into a fight with a big, strong, drunk, angry bastard who has a bunch of big, strong, drunk, angry friends with him. yes, I'd go straight for the nadchackles. I don't know these guys, I have no idea what could happen. worst case scenario is a knife or gun gets pulled. not risking that.

SCENARIO 2: get into a fight with a regular, sober bastard with or without regular, sober friends. in this case, I'd probably keep it above the belt.

Depends, really.

A fight where me losing doesn't get anyone hurt? I wouldn't.

A fight where I NEED to win in order to not die, or to protect someone else? Hells yeah.

Honor doesn't do you any good if you've just been stabbed by a thug in the street.

If you ever was in a real fight, you would know that there are no rules. And this you should follow. I wont risk my health just to have a "fair" fight with some brutal asshole that wants to bash my skull in.Kick in the nuts, sand in the eyes, attack from behind. Fighting fair is risking your beautiful face. Not worth it.
Or are you complaining to your fictional referee when some basterd hit your friend with a bottle and his eye is bleeding out?
The only thing that counts is getting yourself and your friends out of there as unharmed as possible.

My Sifu was trained by Bruce Lee's protege, and is one of 3 people in the world certified through Lee's lineage to teach his form of Jeet Kune Do, and the first thing he taught us was "In a real fight, there are no rules." Go for the groin, go for the eyes, headbutt, knee, whatever it takes. In a street fight, it's a matter of surviving, not keeping up appearances.

Look up krav maga, the martial art that nukes that rule and takes a dump on its ashes.

Hmmm, It seems I am one of the few with a backfiring sense of personal honor and dignity. No matter what I respect my enemies. I do however believe in continueing when he is already down, right of the victor is what you call that.
Anyway a fist under the nose, followed with a throw down and a kick to the teeth takes care of most things.

There are no rules in a conflict where my personal well-being or survival is threatened. Absolutely none.

Well, I don't know the literal name of the rule, but basically it states, when fighting, you never hit below the other person's waistline.

So heres a scenario:

You were out at some bar late at night. There was a misunderstanding with the really big guy next to you, next thing you know, you're out in the parking lot fighting. Not only is this guy huge, but he really knows how to fight and is much better than you. He winds up to deal a blow that you just know would knock you out instantly and there is no way for you to dodge it. He made a mistake however, and leaves his groin area wide open. If you kick him there, he won't land the blow, and you would have basically won. Do you go for the opportunity?

I, personally, would. Being knocked out is not very fun.

Edit: Added a few more options to the poll
Edit2: I realize that a kick in the balls is not the "I win" button. We'll assume that it IS an "I win" button for the scenario.
Fair fights (e.g. UFC/MMA or Boxing, etc.) aside. There are no rules in a fight, therefore all bets are off.

In a sanctioned, official martial arts/boxing/rules-based area, no below the belt. In a street fight, anything goes.

Your answers don't match up with the question. If you're going to make a poll, do it right.

I aim for the eyes, groin, nose or other sensitive areas, no point in losing due to things like "honor" and fairness.

Since when was below the belt a rule outside of boxing?

To hell with that. If I'm in a real scrap then anything goes. Whether it be sticking your fingers in their eyes or you knee in their nuts. Whatever works.

When sparring, no. At bar or in the streets, why not. As Leela once said: You gotta do what you gotta do. That guy could be carrying a weapon for all I know.
It happened to me one time that while fighting with a drunk guy, I merely knocked him down and told him to stay put. Next thing I know, he has a knife in his hand and slashes at me like crazy.

Of course I can dodge it silly. I've fought loads of people who are WAY better then me and I always do fine because they arn't able to hit me unless I want them too.
In answer to your question, probably not, striking the guy would probably only make the situation worse, I'd just dance with him until he got tired and fecked off.
