If someone was trying to kill me or jump me, then sure, but if I just got into a fight? There is no honor in punching testicles!

I would much rather fight with honour and be fair and all that but when it comes down to it I'm scrawny and weak so (although I try my best to avoid them) if I do get in a fight I'll do anything to stop the person long enough to run like something that runs particularly fast to get away from fights (I'm tired and can't think of a simile that would work so that'll have to do for now).

I never really get into fights, but if I did I wouldn't hold back. I'd be aiming to preserve my own life and get a chance to escape through any means necessary. I've no qualms with doing whatever it takes to save my own skin.

Fair fight? Hit below the belt but not the groin.
Bar fight with someone a lot bigger than me, when I've not done anything wrong - yeah groin hit.

Considering I'm 5'5" and of the feminine persuasion, yes I would kick the guy there. Dealing with a guy more my size I wouldn't, but definitely in this situation I would.

Going for the balls is a ***** move.

So if you're comfortable being a little ***** who has to resort to underhanded shit to handle himself, then by all means.

Why not thumb the guy's eye out while you're at it.

There are no rules in self defense. Also the below the belt rule is more specifically for groin thigh and shin and any leg shots are considered fine in the general no below the belt although it would suggest otherwise.

In this very specific and unlikely scenario, i'd kick the guy in the balls with the thunderous roar of Thor, but any other time? I'm too much of a compassionate being to destroy a man's essence of manhood. Mostly becuase i'm a man myself.

i believe it is only ok to hit someone in the groin during a fight if A. its kind of a one-sided fight, and you really dont want to fight, just protect yourself, or B. they want to hurt you very badly or kill you.

Simple solution is really to run away. If the guy has had a genuine misunderstanding then he doesn't deserve that kind of pain. So, no. I wouldn't.
Someone with a knife, or someone I particularly disliked already, or a mugger... yeah, go for it.

If it were something like a fencing bout I would never do that on purpose because that is an event with rules and regulations but, if it's a street brawl or a fight for survival victory is all that matters.

Fighting is about winning. If this is a serious fight I have no reason to respect my opponent or the package that he carries. (assuming this is a guy) Anyway, its not "cheap" to go for the legs, so why isn't it called the "Don't punch me in the balls" rule?

I sure would, I've trained in several different martial arts, but not one is more efficient and reliable as Krav Maga, and that is ALL fighting dirty. :/

I try not to get into fights unless it's for self-defense. And in the case of self-defense, I use anything necessary. Granted, I wouldn't aim for the balls right away. But I would if necessary.

I'm not an honor-bound man. Groin kicks, acid spit to the face, maybe even severing a few limbs; I'm doing whatever I can to beat it into him that he was wrong.

I'm making fun of bar-fighters, by the way.
