The One True Love is a myth, and urban legend. Isn't it interesting how you find the one man/woman, your one true love living just in your neighborhood, or just happen by the same dating site you are on? False.

Everybody gravitates toward a hidden preconception of the perfect mate, an unconsciously programmed standard, based upon upbringing, surroundings, culture...etc (mostly based on your parents' personality though), that you measure every living potential mate to. The stronger the resemblance to this hidden standard, the stronger you will be attracted to that person. Because people doesn't know about this unconscious standard they are measuring mates to, they think it's some form of magic, "love"...

It's not magic, it's just your unconscious fucking with you mind :)

Yes. Not because I've ever seen it but because I am a romantic and true love is one of those romantic ideas that you just gotta love.

Do I believe in True Love? Yes. Do I believe that the majority of human beings are capable of True Love? No. Esp. not in today's high pressure world of high expectations and instant gratification.

Yes I do. To me there is only one question at the moment:
Is 18 too early to propose, even after 3 years of perfectness?

Unfortunately I'm inclined to believe it is.

I do believe that true love exists. I even thought I had found my true love once but I didn't.

I had met my ex-fiance when I was a Sophomore in highschool and he was a Senior. We got really close and then he graduated. I was so upset and couldn't stop thinking about him. After I graduated, we met over the internet and became a couple a few days later. While we were together, I thought he was my true love and he believed I was his soul mate. I believe that if he had been willing to work on our relationship more, we could still be together. Unfortunately, he left me for someone who I believed was a friend of mine about 8 months ago. Oh well.

I still do believe that there is someone out there for everyone. I believe in destiny and everything happening for a reason. There may not be only one person out there for you but I know that there is someone who will always accept you for you and love you no matter what. I just need to find him...

That's what I said. Its amazing to me how people feel so pressured that they have to find that one perfect person and get married by the time they're 30.
