suicide, I don't believe in all these conspiracies
The forensics don't lie man; Kurt's fingerprints weren't on the shotgun, suicide note, shotgun shells, the pen that was stuck in the suicide note or the drug paraphernalia that was found near his body. The heroin levels were over three times the lethal dose (that amount can kill a horse in seconds.), a amount that was never found in a junkie before or after his death. Also, his arms weren't long enough to stick the gun in his mouth & pull the trigger. And that's just the tip of the forensics iceberg.

If you don't want to listen to that, just remember his daughter. He loved her to death and would have done anything for her. The main reason he was leaving Courtney was because he wanted to protect Francis from her.

Believe me when I say I know the greater details of this case. I took a forensics course not too long ago and did a 33+ page long essay on his death. I dug through all the shit I could find on his death, even police reports about him before his death and after it. (Still got it)

Read the book Love & Death if you want a complete investigation of his death. It was written by two Canadians who thought the whole "Kurt was murdered" theory was a load of horse crap. Buy the end of the book, the forensics convinced them otherwise.

Do I think Courtney herself killed Kurt? No. Do I believe she was behind his death? You better believe it.
actually the most shocking one involved in all this is Tom Grant, he's an investigator and former sheriff's office investigator hired to investigate Kurt's disappearance. he at first did it as a missing persons case.

however after a while and certain things that came up, he switched his opinion from being a suicide to a murder plot.

there are a few things, besides the shot gun thing. his "suicide" note has 2 distinctly different hand writing styles, up until the last couple lines it's a "good bye to the music industry and fans" as it was widely known that Kurt hated the fame and wanted to be left alone. read his suicide note without the ending part that's a bunch of chicken scrawl

there is also the rumour he wanted to divorce Courtney and was trying to cut her out of his will and give it all to Francis

anyways here's Tom Grant's website

http://www.cobaincase.com/
Yes, there was also a dude in the video a posted called el Duce who was offered 50grand to kill Kurt, apparently he'd passed a lie detector test too. 2 days after recording he was found dead on a train track or something. the verdict was suicide but to me it seems too coincidental

Yeah cause I totally care about Kurt Cobain..../sarcasm

As a person, I never knew him, as a musician...well if I want grunge, I listen to Soundgarden.

Suicide. He seemed to hate himself and he was also pretty fucked up from the drugs. I feel sorry for him.

I question the whole suicide note. The last four lines are definitely not in his hand, and the rest of it seems too shaky to be Kurt's.

One of the things that piss me off to no end is that something like a week after Kurt was found, Rosemary Carrol (pretty sure it was her) found a handwriting practice sheet in Courtney's backpack, on it Courtney kept trying to copy Kurt's writing style.
The SPD still didn't even consider that Courtney was behind Kurt's death.

the guy attempted suicide several time previously and nearly overdosed repeatedly before he died. i do think she drove him to it a little by having an affair with billy corgan (which was reported at the time, even if it wasn't true), but she definitely didn't kill him or hire an assassin to kill him.

So, what do you believe? I personally believe Courtney had him killed and apparently, the man interviewed in the video above passed a lie detector test saying that he was offered 50grand to kill Kurt.

EDIT: I do advise that you watch the video, it contains some stuff that I didn't know about either
There are ways to beat a lie detector. I don't know any but there are ways.

Shotgun mouthwash. Kurt had to wash his mouth out, grabbed the nearest shotgun. Voila! Mouth is now clean!

"...Eldon Hoke (also known as "El Duce"), singer of a band called the Mentors, claimed he was offered $50,000 by Courtney Love three months prior to Cobain's death to kill her husband. On March 6th, 1996, Hoke was administered a polygraph (lie detector) test by Dr. Edward Gelb, who was one of the country's leading polygraph experts. (He was also teaching the advanced polygraph course for the FBI at the time.). Hoke passed a lie detector test with 99.7% certainty that he was telling the truth."

Oops, meant it more for the guy before you. '=[
(p.s. - I think polygraph test can still see if it's a lie even if you don't believe it is. And yes, I get it's just a quote from a show, but still.)

Just want to throw out there that lie detectors are complete and absolute bullshit. You might as well throw tea leaves. There's been a bunch of serial killers who passed lie detectors with flying colors, and later they were proven guilty with DNA evidence. And ive seen demonstrations of a random girl faking a lie detector test after 2 minutes of instruction. Polygraph tests aren't even permitted in court. When a person uses passing a lie detector test as evidence, that's the first sign that there probably lying.
