Yes, I believe we landed there because I have an IQ over 20.....
Still I think all these conspiracy nuts are all making a ruckus over nothing.

/thread. I'm sorry, this was what, the 6th post in? And people are still talking after this post? Gah... -_*'Puzzles said:Of course they went there, it's been proven... Conspiracy theories are fun and all, but incredibly stupid.
I think more modern statistics place the figure closer to a third of Americans but don't quote me on that.Calatar said:Huh, well currently escapists seem to be as much as 4 times more likely to believe in the moon hoax conspiracy as the 1999 poll claimed, yet we have no comments explaining why any person believes in the conspiracy. Was it just the early confusing grammar, or is there genuinely a sentiment of belief in this?
im sorry but whenever there is a story about a ufo there are far too many holes like if aliens could travel far and anywhere and storys talk about abduction if the do get abducted why is there no evidence when they get back except their word but enough about aleins back to the MOONAnoctris said:You can dismiss Roswell maybe, but there are too many unexplainable sightings to discount other incidents.thiosk said:You can use the same logic for the Roswell incident, and UFO coverups.meatsplash said:I've never looked at it quite like that, but I think that is going to be my new favorite line when debunking the conspiracy nuts! haha... awesome.thiosk said:Also, at the time we were fighting a cold war with russia. Russia had very good tracking capabilities and intercepted every single transmission sent by those spacecrafts. They also had a vested interest in making us look bad.
If it was fake, they would have known it, and would have called us on it, big time.
If aliens were approaching earth, we would have built defenses to protect ourselves from interstellar incursion.
We only built defenses against Russian bombers and missiles.
There are no alien visitors.
You are also assuming that we have the technical ability to defend this planet from a possible species that posess the ability to travel interstellar distances, and craft that are capable of speeds and manuevers that are currently impossible for terrestial aircraft to match.

And Airline pilots are buzzed with such regularity by UFOs they don't even bother reporting it unless they are damaged or otherwise intereferred with.
I've been seeing a 'star' like light for the past 12 months where I work. This week I've determined its most likely the International Space Station, as I was able to look up the flight paths on the NASA site and match it to the last sighting. Bummer.
Here is a quick debunking of the most used myths (also some that the Mythbusters debunked)Anoctris said:I need links!
