I used to get pre-owned games, but if I can help it, I won't now. I never knew that GameStop made all of the money from those sales (I never thought about it, to be honest), and since I really don't like GameStop's "trade in your games!" policy, the less money I give them, the better.
If you're curious, I traded in about 8 games or so one time--nothing too expensive or popular at the time--and only got about $12-$14 of in-store credit. The worst part was that within the next two weeks or so, they had a deal where you'd be getting a 50% bonus to any games you trade in. I could've actually gotten a game if I had waited. dasjkf
