Well, I am trying to lose some weight so I'm moderately conscientious about what I eat. I've taken a lot of the sugar out of my diet. Though I haven't absolutely forlorn anything. Moderation is key, as they say, so if I eat anything particularly bad I just work a little harder later. I figure it all balances out as long as I'm being careful about it.

Well, other than having to abandon my eat-a-cheesecake-every-day habit a few years ago, I just try to consume as much protein as possible.

Luckily I don't have much of a sense of taste, for some reason, so I just eat food for function rather than fun. If you could get a genuine, nutrient-rich sludge that wasn't a con I'd probably live off of that.

I'm one of those folks who regards pretty much everything in grocery stores as 'garbage' So balancing nutrition, and money has sort of gotten me eating simple (not varied, the bare bone sustainable diet seems to run me atleast 40$! although that's contributing my apple and peanut butter vice...hehe..weekly large tub of 100$ pb, and bi weekly maple syrup for my tea)

It's gotten to the point were I eat the same 1 or 2 meals every day. It's become something I do just to keep everything going, a real practical sort of thing. Let's just say I'm not going to be taking any ladies to the bedroom based off of my cooking.....or what most 1st world living folks would consider prisoner food.

I am sort of paying attention to what I eat. I tend to pick food with at least 20% proteins and have something on the side which got less. After working out I tend to make a dinner which allows me to get at least 70g of protein, sometimes around 100 if possible.

I don't care much about sugar and I eat a lot of jam, but I wont eat candy or drink soda except on rare occasions or when I get it for free. The only time I actively choose to drink soda is when I donate blood because they stopped having orange juice. I don't really like the taste of soda, but it's better than the rest of the stuff they've got there.

I have to admit that I have been kinda sloppy lately due to lack of funds to buy good healthy food. Today I am going to eat fish with some vegetables on the side.

I used to eat whatever I wanted. Then I gained, like, 40 pounds. So I started paying a little attention to what I eat, and lost about 20-30 pounds of it. So yeah...I'm a bit carful. I try to avoid pigging out too much.

I dont get hungry very often, so I only eat really one time a day, so I cant really gain much weight. It might be why I cant run without feeling like my shins are going to splint and why I get low blood pressure all the time though

In care in so much that i pay attention to how much i've eaten in a day, but i'm not that fussed about what i've easten necessarily as long as it's within the sensible limits of how much i should eat in a day. For example, i'm perfectly fine to have a kfc box meal (~950 calories since i always have a sugar free version of a drink), no real issue there, as long as i then don't have another meal just as large in the day :p

I generally eat 'healthy' enough to never get ill (not even had a sniffle in the last year for example, despite my family all doing nothing but coughing and sneezing :p), the main thing is that i blimp out if i eat all that much (despite doing plenty of walking, but i suppose i still have an office job, so i have to sit for long periods a day) so i have to pay attention to overall calories. However, i'm good at it, so i don't 'count' calories arduously, i just have a good feeling for what everything is 'worth' and it makes it fairly easy.

I used to care that much about what I eat aside from after workout meals, but I did avoid non diet sodas and colas like the plague. I used to work out to an insane degree (nigh everyday and wearing weights everyday), but I am trying to lean down and starting a computer science major, so I have started to care a bit more about what I eat.

For the most part I'll eat whatever, but there are some lines I refuse to cross. Like you see this thing?

That is the KFC Double Down. It's bacon and cheese slapped between two pieces of the greasiest fried chicken imaginable. It looks awesome. It sounds awesome. But dammit, no. Shit like this is why America is so damn overweight, and taking a single bite of this would make me fear for an instant heart attack. I refuse to try this solely out of principle.
