Hate my age group? Nope. In fact, I quite like most of my age group but perhaps that's just stemming from my apparently unique ability to have fun no matter who I'm with.

Or maybe it's the people that I live/go to school/hangout with. I obviously don't know what my age group is like outside the people in it that I've met, so it's quite possible that my social circle is just not comprised of complete dicks and I've never had to deal with the things that some other people have.

I do, however, dislike the self-important "I'm so MATURE and INTELLIGENT for my age, everyone else needs to grow up!" attitude that I'm finding increasingly common in people my age group (teenagers) on many forums that I frequent.

If I have to say I hate someone, it would be 16-19 year olds who think that everybody else is a moron and they somehow feel they are a bastion of intelligent life in a sea of foetid degenerates. Most likely because I once thought the same way, now I see how fucking stupid it was.
Agreed. Sometimes I feel like the last stronghold of intelligence in an ocean of imbeciles. [/=D]

No, but seriously, I agree with this poster. Although I won't say that all of the people in this group do this, I tend to find these people really annoying. Mostly because my own ego cannot coexist in the same space as theirs.

I have to say "yes." My age group are full of idiots, ignorants morons, and much much more. You can probably guess what it is. And then I found you guys. It is literally, my Escape.

So do you? And if so why?

EDIT:Sorry, the Poll is broken.
I'm 24 and people are as stupid as ever, I wonder how much longer before they start growing a brain :/

Yes. Literally every teenager on Earth who isn't me deserves to be thrown into a volcano. That includes you, teens reading this who aren't me. Especially you, in fact. You bastards.

Sadly, this can apply to an unfortunate number of the users of this forum...

*raises flame shield*

[small]I think you guys are a great community, but that's one of the things that I dislike about this site[/small]

Yeah, but I simply ignore the stupid people. Since I focus on people I actually like, my age group seems quite fun, yet not stupid. Quite the contrary. By the way, I'm 15, so I consider my age group to be like 14-17.

NOTE: I have my problems too, don't get me wrong. I just think that intelligence isn't necessarily one of them. Social skills on the other hand...

Yup. Most of them are tools and jocks.
We are a generation of men raised by women, with the ideals put into our head that we'll live off of other people and the people of my generation are following that.

Kinda, they just have the worst taste in... well everything. They'd rather listen to generic rapper #37 then awesome hard rock like Led Zeppelin. It's shocking that I know people who acctually liked Transformers 2. Most people my age wouldn't be able to sit through some of my favorite movies. It would actually be pretty funny to watch a teen try to watch one of the Clint Eastwood spaghetti westerns. They'd be scrambling in their seat trying to escape the rounded characters and great acting. At least my good friends and bandmates are sensible.

I dislike them sometimes, but hey the got their point. What other time in my life can I just have this much careless fun? If I want talk about politics(besides the whole Obama sucks and those "damn gays" converstions that they pull out of their ass and I dispise)Or art, and literature, I can come here or talk to my grandparents.

I don't hate them, but they do get on my nerves, mostly because they're rednecks (see: racist and intolerant). Still I know a few people who are pretty cool.

I used to hate my age group but now that I am 28, my age group is starting to grow up a little and act like thinking beings. Most guys are mature at age 30, girls at age 25. Those of us who behave rationally and make good decisions earlier in life certainly feel left out during our teenage and twenty something years while our generation behave like idiots.

I'm sixteen. We are all idiots, myself and my friends included, we just don't like to admit it. There just happen to be varying degrees of stupidity and arrogance, and we're thankfully near the bottom.
I like to think of each clic as having its own rank on the tree of teenage stupidity. I just haven't gotten around to planning out said tree.
Is it ranked as in less to more stupid, or different kind of stupid?
Well, in my mind, different branches would represent different sorts of stupidity, and the height on said branch represent the level of stupidity.
See, now that's an interesting project. You have me intrigued.
If you started a website or something, I'd wholeheartedly endorse it.
I honestly don't have the time right now. I've got too much, but I'd still like to help work on it.
I'll be here waiting.
When I get off my lazy arse and put forth some effort, you'll be among the first I call upon.
