Being a lot older than the majority here I prefer my age group as I have a lot more in common with them than the younger crowd. We can reminisce about the good old days when computer games used cassettes and Star Wars was the latest movie, a Mars bar cost about 13p and a can of coke cost about the same and we all looked cool with our........
WTF am I on about, those days sucked donkey balls (apart from Star Wars ofc).

I'm no hater, peace and love for everyone!
Actually no, i guess i was in that stage a few years ago when i hated everyone, but now, most of my classmates are fun to be with. I don't really have more experience with my age group except my school. Most of them are intelligent people.

I have to say "yes." My age group are full of idiots, ignorants morons, and much much more. You can probably guess what it is. And then I found you guys. It is literally, my Escape.
You took the words out of my mouth.

Nope. Unless they were actively trying to bully me or something, I do not have a reason to.

Sure, there's some less than ideal people in my age group, but hey, everyone is different. Most of the time though, I just don't care enough to feel negatively about any person similar age group or not (of course there are exceptions, I have 3 people I genuinely hate).

It helps that I'm a good acquaintance with just about every person in my age group (school wise) who know me as a jack-of-all trades who can easily relate to anything. I got along with just about everyone. Not saying I had more best friends then people on facebook, but people were familiar anough with me.

Yep. We are a generation that loves Lady Gaga and Jersey Shore. Oh, and reality shows. We love our reality shows. And my kids will probably assume that, as a member of my generation, I liked those things as well. The thought depresses me.

I'm Seventeen so. Yeah. We're all idiots. I feel like I'm 25 or older cause I don't do shit that a "normal" 17 year old would do.

Depends...

If I am looking at the people in my age group on the internet, it isn't so bad...

But looking at all these gangstas out there really makes me feel like part of parade promoting stupidity and suicide.

I generally get along better with younger OR older people, but occasionally I'll get along with people my age group ;).

Well I'm 14 and well, while there certainly are alot of cheeseheads and things I don't like tied to the age group I can get along well with fellow teens around that age and I do have some great mates.

Besides, you might as well root for the home team.

So do you? And if so why?

EDIT:Sorry, the Poll is broken.
Always did (well, at least from age 6, which is more than 20 years ago), and still do, for mostly the same reasons :)
It's good that you've found the sort of people that you can relate to. The internet does have its uses.

I suppose. But you might want to be a bit clearer next time.

Yes but I'm fairly sure I'd still hate them if they were a different age group. My anger and contempt isn't so narrow that I only focus its rays on whoever is my age.

Yes. I can only hope that they might someday grow up. Most of my friends are older than me - the ones I can really talk to, that is. I can tolerate the majority of my age group, but just barely. I just don't like others thinking that I'm like the rest of the people my age.

I dislike the majority of humanity, including every age group.

Hate requires an emotional connection. I can't hate someone I've never met, but I do hate a lot of the beliefs and behaviors most people tend to have.

Pretty much. The feeling's mutual, though (probably one of the primary reasons I dislike them in the first place)
They act like idiots, they constantly try and embarass me (heaven forbid that I go near any female friends of mine) and a large proportion of them believe smoking to be "cool"...
It's reassuring to remember that I'm the mature one.

I USED to hate my age group, and sometimes I guess I still do, but over all I've gotten over how stupid some of them are. Maybe it's because they are finally calming down? Haha I don't know. I just stay away from the ones that annoy me xD

probably yes as the slight majority of my age group seem to be massive pricks. Not saying they stupid just incredible mean towards other people (where I live at least).
