Scotch. Neat. And that's because I like the taste.

I'll elaborate, actually. I only drink a large amount VERY occasionally, mainly at my friends birthday and New Years parties. And I generally end up doing something dumb (last New Years, managed to collapse my friends bunk bed...somehow). Otherwise, I limit myself to a glass of scotch on Friday nights.

I like to take a beer every now and then, and I occasionally end up drinking way too much in the weekends because of personal stupidity and norwegian drinking culture.

But yeah, I drink. Usually not too much. I really like beer and whiskey, in fact.

I've always had too much to drink, so since the beginning of this year, I've employed a general rule which says I can only drink every other day, and then only a limited amount. It's helping to bring the weight down quite a bit.

Yes, but not much. Most I give myself is two cans of cider, which is fine enough.
Not much reason for drinking it other than that I like the taste and it does seem to help a bit if I'm feeling depressed.

I drank briefly for a year or so during the start in college, but now I so rarely do that it basically counts as not drinking. Perhaps a glass of wine or a shot of something once every 6 to 12 months. The biggest reason would be that it doesn't feel good. Even the smoothest drinks burn a bit to the inexperienced, and I hangovers are no fun. The vast majority of drinks though I simply don't like. Like I said, there's an occasional drink that I may enjoy, but they are very rare, and in small amounts.

Another reason is my girlfriend doesn't drink. Alcoholism runs in the family, so she won't even try it. When you aren't hanging around alcohol, you're a lot less likely to drink it. No fun being the only one buzzed or drunk.

And lastly it saves me a lot of money when I go out, haha.

Yep I'm a solid fan of having a few drinks, but I only ever partake in heavy drinking whilst in company of friends on the weekend. Don't drink any during the week for health reasons.

Why is there no plain yes option? i don't exactly drink in moderation but not too much either
And what IS moderation? what might be moderate for me is your monthly consumption

Just this afternoon we had to wait an hour for a guest lecture, but thankfully we have a cafe right next to our building.

For the rest, Saturday mostly while going out and sometimes i'll start Fridays at friends.

Moderation is however much you want it to be.
If you don't like how much you are drinking the top option is for you.

Recently starting actually drinking alcohol, but in moderation. For example when my best mate hangs out with me saturday night's we'll probably have a drink or two to relax, but not much else (and only light drinks). Since I only really started "going out" and stuff, i'm experiencing that experience as well which is fun but I try to keep it in moderation, although I did get quite jolly a few weeks ago at a party which earned me the nickname "Sprinkles".

I haven't really tried many alchoholic beverages yet but I do like Kopparberg, Jagermeister (and Jagerbombs) and Disarrono with Coke. Vodka too, but i've only tried a bit as I realise how dangerous that stuff can be in excess. Beer and Guinness doesn't taste very nice to me though, tastes like crap in my opinion. I look forwars to trying other things... luckily there is a party i'm going to in two weeks so... looking forward to that. Not sure if i'm a light-weight or not yet.

Yes, more than I should and probably too much of it. I drink socially, and tend to go out quite a bit. I know it's bad for me (and my bank balance) but I just love doing it.

I don't drink at all and think Alcohol is a plague on society.

But nobody will ever take that seriously. Take people's booze away and they riot.

So, I don't really care if you drink, I just want no part of it. I won't openly hate you for it or explain my views to people while they drink and enjoy themselves.

I drink a glass or two of wine from time to time. I have never gotten drunk, nor do I ever plan on doing so. I just fail to see the appeal.

I drink with friends to socialise, or when watching a movie. But never get drunk. Hate when im not in control, cant walk or brain is to fuzzy to make choices. Drink for social and fun. The idea of drinking to get drunk is immature and pathetic.

I sure do. Nothing like a nice cold beer or cider to unwind after work. I'm also a bit of a pub quiz fan at the moment so I find myself in a pub once or twice a week, so I'll usually have a couple then. I think a little tipple can be a wonderful thing for social bonding, relaxing and lightening up.

Not a big fan of getting drunk though. I think I got that out of my system - vomit pun intended - during my student days.

I drink WAY TOO MUCH SOJU! I have no idea how my coworkers can get drunk like they do on a bi-nightly basis...just unfathomable to someone who thought that he could drink like a fish!
