Yes - I'm 21, I've been able to drink for 4 years now (and actually drinking for longer).
A pint after a stressful day at uni is a very, very nice feeling; as is a bottle of wine with the girlfriend. Going out and getting fairly tipsy about once a month at the moment (I used to drink a hell of a lot, and truthfully I don't enjoy being drunk that much - mainly as I appear to get a "hangover" whilst still drinking).
You claim that it's a poison and turns people into morons, then why do doctors recommend a glass of red wine with an evening meal as it may have beneficial health effects (reducing the chances of heart conditions)? Do you spit on that level of drinking too (it is, after all, imbibing a poison that turns people into morons)?
People can drink and not be drunk. There is a very important distinction between the two.

I take extreme offence to your point of view. Given that I rarely drink more than a pint or two, I can safely say that alcohol is harmless (I don't drive) provided you have a healthy relationship with it.Zeithri said:I can compare those two because that's what alcohol is; Poison.
This has nothing to do with "self righteousness", this has to do with that it turns people into bloody morons.
But go ahead and drink! Perhaps when you accidently kill yourself or someone else or mess up a relationship and blame it on "I was drunk!" you will understand.
You can take your group mentallity and stay far away from me as possible while I'll take my inviduallity and go the other way.
