No. Every alcoholic beverage I've tried is yucky.
People keep telling me to try X because it tastes just like Y, but if it tastes just like Y I might as well go drink Y and keep my liver.
Actually red wine and cognac has been proven to reduce the risk of heart and vascular problems, so it's not really a big health risk unless you're an alcoholic. The whole liver failure thing is mainly something those who are against drinking will tell you.

I do have a beer on occasions. It goes great with food and it's really refreshing. I don't even mind drinking non-alcoholic beer really. The taste is great. Sometimes I can enjoy some rum or vodka, but I don't drink often.

no. i dont like it, to begin with, and everything that everyone else finds to be fun when it comes to drinking (such as blacking out, vomiting, doing things they would never do otherwise, and embarrassing ones self overall) just doesnt appeal to me in the slightest bit

I've tried enough to know that I don't like it. I've tried beer and think it's the worst drink I've ever tried (I've tried more than one brand too: it all tastes the same to me). I've tried wine and while I like the flavor of white wine over red, I've also been drunk before. I strongly dislike the sensation. I can drink all the soda, milk, tea or, coffee I want with no ill effects. Also, isn't a lot of it cheaper than beer?

You can take your group mentallity and stay far away from me as possible while I'll take my inviduallity and go the other way.
Individual for not drinking eh? Dead wrong on that one. So you shun everyone who doesn't drink and look down upon them because they do? Not a very social person are you? If you have had problems in the past with alcohol that doesn't mean its bad for everyone. I imagine a day in your life goes like this

Friend: "Man alcohol is not that bad at all."
You: "Alcohol good? *Spit on friend* You are a fucking moron who has no intelligence whatsoever, get the hell away from me."

You have issues dude.
No, I am not a very social person.
There is nothing I love more than to see people claim themselves to be alternative only to do the exact same damn thing as everyone else.
I point you to the reply I made at #182.
Aren't you doing the same exact thing then? I can go anywhere and find a person who says they wont drink because they don't want to follow what everyone else does. You are still part of a group mentality, just seems you haven't realized. You are acting like you are the only person on Earth saying they wont drink.
Yeah, if I could find such people where I live you'd be correct.
Well then you just got stuck in a place where there are no others like you. Don't know if you have tried finding any or whatever, but just because you see yourself as an individual in your area does not make it that you are the only one in the world. As for your point in post #182 it seems you are putting yourself in those settings where this is gonna be alcohol and that just kinda relates back to what I first said. If you can't find anyone else that doesn't like alcohol where you are (which I highly doubt) then I am sincerely sorry for you, but you are not the only one so don't act like it.
*looks at the thread*

Yeaah, forgive me but I think you're wrong with that claim.
But if you had my reply, you should also had noticed the part;
"I will only say this;
I will never change my mind about this.
If my partner drinks, I won't like it but I won't stop him/her.
"
Ah sorry only read the top part. Thats your partner though, I mean you have to extend it to him/her because you have to overlook that they drink. Cant you apply to everyone else that drinks?
I ignore them and all talk about alcohol,
Until they''d utter a pharse "You cannot say you don't like it until you've tried it"...

Because that just releases the fucking rage of me <_<
Well you are going to get that a lot. You don't want to drink so people want you to try it, just gotta be calm and not attack them for drinking. Ignoring will just make it worse. In the end all it just alienates everyone around you.

Underage, but don't and will continue to not drink even when I am of age. Never really seen the point of it when Soda, kool-aid, and even milk is just fine for me. :D

Been drinking since I was 14, and lo behold, 14 years later Im still going out on the town or to parties nearly every weekend.
It seems to me that here in the cold northern part of Norway drinking culture is nearly as bad as in Russia of Finland.

Fact : Having a glass of wine or a beer now and then have health benefits.

Never had a drink in my life, not even one beer. It's just not for me. I'm not going to judge anyone that drinks, but gaming isn't for certain people but that's pretty much my life. I don't think I have to try it to decide if I like it or not, it's just something that has never interested me. If I was ever curious about if I might like drinking, yeah, I'd try it, but the thought has never crossed my mind.

Honestly, I like being aliennated.
I've been that for so long that it's just a part of me.
I take comfort in being alone. I have friends but I don't have to meet them everyday.

It makes me happy being alone just as it makes them happy to be with others.
Well if you are all right with missing out on a bunch then thats all on you, just saying don't think you are the only one that doesn't like something and then take a tone like that. It really seemed like you really believed that. Always someone else like you and take comfort in that. If someone offers a drink, don't offend just get the away from that person if they keep persisting. Aggression just leads to anger like you have seen against you in this thread.

Most people don't accept you saying No until you get aggressive.
And stop trying to teach me a lesson because I am not missing out on "a bunch".
You are though. Its just saddening to see another person to shut themselves out because they don't agree with something. Yeah you have friends, but in the end you are alone. Wheres the point in that? Think about it man. No more replies from me.
