No. I still haven't got over the fact that it tastes NOTHING like how it smells. My family drinks coffee all the time - I grew up smelling those beans of coffee, and I always asked if I could try some when I was a kid, and my parents invariably said "no, not until you're older". When I finally was old enough to make some myself, I was giddy with anticipation - Surely something that smelled that good would taste that good, right? My child brain was still fixated on the idea that something must taste like how it smells.
I spat out the first mouthful of coffee. I was horrified. It tasted NOTHING like how it smelled! Nothing at all! It smelled sweet, but it TASTES BITTER. As a child, it was a betrayal. The Coffee Beans betrayed me. It was personal. I decided that I would never drink coffee again.
Now that I'm a grown up, I have to say that I sort-of-like the taste of coffee, but I still don't drink it regularly since there are tastier drinks out there (like Orange Juice, Coca Cola, hell even plain old Milk tastes better than Coffee).
