Duh, of course I do. Heck, most food doesn't even have an expiration date, it has a sell by date. It's supposed to be good for at least a week past the date. Even those foods that do have an actual expiration date still have some wiggle room planned in. It's not like the know the very second the stuff is gonna go bad. For most things it can vary by several days depending on even fairly minor differences in the conditions it's kept in. Of course they put the very earliest possible point as the date, so you're almost certain to have perfectly good food if it's just a day or two past the expiration date.
Even with all that, even if your food is actually bad, the vast majority of food poisoning in healthy adults just results in a very minor case of diarrhea, which, while certainly unpleasant, is hardly the end of the frickin' world despite what some people seem to believe.
So again, I will absolutely eat anything that's past its date. I just trust my senses more than some paranoid make-believe date some dude made up to cover his ass.
