Depends. If I'm signing up for something like an account on The Escapist I use my real birthday. If it just for viewing a random video on a random site it's January 1st + 3 scrolls down on the mouse wheel.

Online in general: all the time, espicially because I've learned many sites allow for the impossible "February 31st" so obviously chose that for amusment.

and when I was younger, I lied so that websites wouldn't lock me out of what I may have went there to see...

Depends. If it's a form I'm filling out, I'll either put the real one or not put one at all. If I'm just being asked "enter birth date to continue", not really. I mean I sometimes do, mostly out of habit, but generally I don't bother. I passed such questions before I was 13/14/18/21 as they're completely useless in just about every single way (apart from making you lawsuit immune I suppose) and I still do now that I've past all those ages. Just click the first long-ago year you can come across, the point of the question is whether I'm older than a certain age, not when I was born.

Yes I always use my proper birth date. I am 21 so I find it ultimately pointless to put in a fake birth date.

For gametrailer videos and the like, I really couldn't be arsed. Everyone on that site must be born on the first of january.
