Poll: Do you feel insulted if someone calls you a nerd/geek/dork/ect. because you play video games?

I don't mind being called a nerd. Noone says geek except for my douche of a possibly-soon-ex friend, and Dork isn't a word. I don't care for the insult, but the reason irritates me

Girls seem to say its cute, but dont feel like you can then totally relax about subjects you talk about, you still cant talk about games/nerd stuff with non nerdy people, however "cute" they say it is.

I dont get offended, im the only nerd in my group of friends and constantly getting asked to fix their computers. Fine when I do, they say "Wish I could do this shit, just doesn't interest me" and make me a cup of Tea. They still call me a nerd, but only when im not helping them , as do most people I know but its not offensive, at all.

Actually apparently my fanboy rants are endearing.

Bah! You guys must have it easy. Being called a nerd is high praise, if you ask me. The insults I always get are fat, gay, and retarded. I'm hardly retarded! I'm always underestimating the ignorance of my peers. When I first went to high school, I thought that the process by which the sun works was common knowledge. No...not even the smartest of my friends knows about thermonuclear fusion! Ahh, but I digress. I'm a nerd, and I'm proud of it!

I've been called worse. Much, much worse. Doesn't bother me. Simple minds need labels, not my problem.

I do a little, if I'm called a geek. I don't know why, that's the only one that irritates me.
So I always correct them, informing them I am classed as a nerd.
Results in a punch in the face, but I feel satisfied.
