No its just that everyone's an elitist these days thinking their smarter and wiser then everyone around them, they then feel burdened by this and get depressed that everyone around them is smarter. I find people are innovative, bright and fun to much around with, like a brilliant toy. They do break a bit too easily though.

Well my friends are a group of well rounded, sensible yet fun, sensitive human beings (for the most part).

One of my friends is the master of doing what you said in the OP. Trying incredibly hard to evoke a pity vote and sympathy/empathy from everybody around him, all the God damn time. All the sane people that know him hate his guts for it so it seems a lot of people feel the way you do when people pull that crap.

Me and my friends can read each other pretty well though. Me probably a little better than them though, or maybe I'm just more concerned about them.

People are MUCH better at observing negative tendencies in others than they are in themselves. Odds are, if you think everyone around you is crap, you're no better.

there are not many people that are crap, usually they are nice, or polite.
Some people are really crappy, and when i mean crappy, i mean shitty.
my mom works in a store, she deals with customers all the time. sometime she has to deal with shitty people. these people are VERY rude, steal and do all sorts of shitty stuff. I dont get suprised about the stealing, but when she tells me about VERY rude customers, i get really pissed. they are worse than the theifs, you should hear how rude they are, makes me want to slap their silly faces.

Nah people aren't crap or at least they don't mean to be.

Plus I bet your friends are around your age which means they probably aren't emotionally mature yet and it sounds like you aren't either. Thus leading to your situation.

Basically yes, you seem to feel neglected emotionally by your friends even though try to tend their emotional needs. Although I have no idea what you are really like as a person so making baseless statements about you from a forum post is silly.

But seriously it all sounds like lack of communictaion really.

In my experience people don't communicate their feelings enough with each other or if they do they don't do it very tactfully.

Nah not really but I feel that if Im willing to ALWAYS willing to help others, tend to their emotions should I get at least a hey, whats goin on? This thread wasnt supposed to be about me personally anyway. More about people themselves.
