If it suits the girl then I actually find it very cute, especially if it's a chelsea haircut, much better than plain long hair.

I like long hair regerdless of gender rather than more attractive,I just find it easier to get on with people with long hair,esp males with long hair.
who cares about hair? as long as she has nice boobies that's all that matters :>

I spose that eyes are kinda nice too...
and it probably helps if she isn't too much of a stuck up *****...
but I would also prefer a chick with a car/job...
and if her family wasn't too overwhelming that would also be good...

Not in general,in fact many girls can look really hot with short hair.

Long hair is nice but apparently hard to maintain. It won't really affect my choice in girls though, since there are so many other factors to worry about.
I'm a straight female, so my opinion probably doesn't count as much, but I think short styles are cuter when done right. It's more original--at least at my highschool where we all look related... >_>;;

Short hair doesn't work on all girls, but almost all of the girls I've ever known with short hair (including my girlfriend) look fantastic.
It depends on the girl I suppose. Some girls really suit it, others look better with hair so long it reaches their waist. Attraction is a highly complex thing.
